“On your codes to find aisles, ignore the AK, it just stands for Akron. Also, the shelf labels weren't as visible as Warren and Boardman locations. The staff were helpful. This location is in a more questionable area of Akron but I guess the open hours aren't after six.”

“When I can find what I want there, it's a great place, except the prices are really not that competitive. Their inventory feels a little random obviously because it's a closeout store but that kind of makes it really hard to shop for things that you want and again the prices can be a little bit not what I would consider closeout prices considering there is a Marc's store right next door to them that basically does close out stuff as well at lower prices, and there's a Dollar Tree in the same plaza with really low prices.”

“This is really a nice store!! Unlike a couple of other Dollar Tree stores which I have shopped in, it is VERY clean. The shelves were well stocked and orderly. Aisles were not cluttered, again not like some of the other Dollar Tree stores in this town. It appears larger and has many items not found in other Dollar Tree stores, like a large selection of paint brushes and paint rollers. Although it's distance is a bit farther away than the closest Dollar Tree store to me, I definitely will again shop at this store again!”

“The reopening was totally worth it! Walked it expecting dla disappointment but left with a bunch of clothes. I was genuinely impressed! Welcome back, new and improved Big Lots!”

“I love this store. The cashiers are good at their job. The store is clean. It's to bad so many kids go in there and steal and think its funny. Shame on them.”

“Gabe's is awesome. Their brands are great - and cost is very reasonable.
There now building an additional part inside the store towards the back. U get in and out quickly.”

“A lot more inventory than the one I typically go to so I'll def be doing more shopping here!! Going back today actually!! And the pricing is phenomenal as well!!”

“Definitely worth checking out or at least following their page to see some of the big things that come in. I had my eye on something on Amazon for a while and saw they had it for half the price!”

“I love this store. So happy that it's gone back to Save-A-Lot and is no longer that value food market or whatever it was. This location has the best employees and I mean THE BEST. Every single one of them are kind and show up to do their job. They've worked hard to get the store back to what it used to be and I couldn't be happier. I just wish I was able to find an updated phone number on the internet somewhere. What's up with that?”

“Definetly one of my favorite grocery stores, I visit sometimes 3-4 days a week. The waiting does not bother me because I live minutes away. And the cashiers are always nice.”

“I came into save alot this morning and never seen the place this clean organized and smelling great as today the new woman was polite and on the go it made my day”

“I went to this store to return a private brand item that I had purchased at a different DG 20 miles away. The item had not been used and I had the receipt. I was told I would have to take the product to the store where I purchased the item. Considering that DG is not a franchise but is in fact a corporation, I called their corporate Customer Service line where they briefly researched the policy and then stated "Dollar General brand items must be returned to the store where purchased. However, private name brand items can be returned to any DG store in the US for full refund.'

This was one of two DG in my neighborhood that gave me the same runaround. Both stores had very friendly staff that wanted to help me but felt their hands were tied. Dollar General...Train your staff!!!”

“They bring with them a real sense of community with them... You can tell that they aren't just here to make a $... Sure that's like the main reason but they also care about us (GENUINELY) their customers... Ya know... Cuz they wouldn't have any cUStomers without US... Lol cheesy”

“I like this location because it's close to my house and and the staff is super nice. My only complaint is some of the vegetables are going bad and some things are expired. I went today 2/26/2026 and bought cream cheese only for my daughter to eat half before she realized it expired 2/4/2026. I'm not one to ever complain, but that's not ok”

“This is a great Marcs. They always surprise me with their selection. My only complaint is that all of the locations look so dim and extremely outdated. I AM, however, thrilled that this location has price checkers now.”

“The staff that works here are amazing. So sweet and helpful. I e seen a cashier pay for someone’s items who was short. I’ve had employees help me to my car at night and when I have large dashing orders. I will go out of my way to shop here”

“The store rep's are well versed in knowing where items are to assist you in finding items you need. Most of all they're focussed on giving you the service that'll spark your desire to return.”

“They are very good at communicating and saving my mother the most money wich is awesome being she is on a fixed income and they offer delivery wich is great because she doesn't drive. They are a great place to save!!!!”

“It's a bigger location then I am used to. So much more options. It was the first hour of being open so people didn't have a chance yet to mess up the store. I found what I needed.”

“I know last time I was there the store was the cleanest and neatly organized all aisle where faced and no u boats in the isles at all anywhere nicest in the WHOLE CITY!!!”

“On Saturday the 9th around 3:30 i went into the store and bought up a bunch of the goblet glasses. The workers that helped me that day were so kind to me and even helped me to my car. I really appreciated that.”

“Prices are just okay. Amanda (I think that's her name) and maybe a Sherry at customer service are always very nice. I usually have to check out there because cashiers are far and few. My problem with Marcs is they don't ask you to punch in your number for the digital rewards. I would like to see some self serve check outs.”

“Once you understand Dollar Tree, you can love Dollar Tree. The extra .25 they added to the prices has provided a terrifying boost to merchandise quality. Dollar Tree is Party City if you're not an idiot, and also you need a lined notebook for work. Oftentimes the merch here was once much more than $1.25 at one point in its existence at some other store, which is a solid reminder that the monetary value of items is arbitrary and none of this is real.Unlike Planet Fitness, Dollar (Twenty-Five) Tree is the true Judgement-Free Zone. I dare someone to look down on me whilst in there. I dare myself to do the same. In Dollar .25 Tree, we are all equals. There is no class system, no war. We can all afford something in there and we all smell that toxic odor wafting into our bloodstreams from the tremendous selection of holiday home decor. Let me put out some little Christmas trees and you try to tell me they're not from Target. You can't. Also, get out of my house, this visit is over. This one has a greeter at the door and I truly think she is one of the reasons Dollar Tree rises above other discount retailers. She reminds you that you're human during an errand where you might forget. At Dollar Tree you can find your 4th grade home room teacher and 6 women on an extended cigarette break. You can find accessibility to excess and you can say no to it.Don't buy the eyeshadow. Do buy the dish washing gloves.”

“Many times, less advertised store brands can meet your expectations and thus save you money while having it's own distribution system sustain availability. You get that with Save A Lot. I start there for many primary food sources and budget accordingly with great satisfaction. These days, with inflation raising food prices, this may become a necessity for an increasing majority of shoppers. Fear not, you won't be disappointed here.”

“Just had an issue when there a few weeks ago, standing in line, the place was held up at gun point
Not their fault, it's just an energy drink isn't worth my life”

“In the last few months this store has made so many improvements. The new Manager is very nice. You are greeted when you walked in. The cashier always has a warm smile. I overheard the new Manager chatting with a customer stating how she is working so hard to get the store together for the community.”

“My local DG. It's pretty good considering it's location. It takes longer to get restocked than DGs closer to the city's heart. The staff are hit or miss, just like anywhere else. I've met some great cashiers and clerks there and I've also had the displeasure of being attended by some real lazy jerks. I've been going here for 5 years and for the most part everyone has been nice and helpful.”

“It’s a nice store, in a decent area, i just wish they could solve the staffing issues. The ones they have are great, friendly and professional. But the store can’t stay open its hours.”
