This was by far the best place in town to get your dog groomed. I came from Columbus, Ohio to get Princess groomed. It's family owned and they treat your pets like family. All of our pets have gone on to doggy heaven. Colleen was their favorite groomer!!!

The blood draw was a struggle for him, but everyone in the office worked so hard to help him through that. We also have a happy visit scheduled so he can come in and get loved on and start having purely positive experiences at the vet. They offer that for free, which is amazing since it does take time out of their day. I think this place could be a game changer for my guy…and for me! I’m learning so much in these short couple visits that I hope can help me help my pup.

While there were some issues the first surgery visit (not the fault of the practice) - it was made right for the next visit. Surgery was completed last week and our Scooby is like a completely different dog. He is back to being peppy and walking around (still running into things but that is because of the cone). Can't wait for the cone to come off so he can live a full quality of life once again. So very very happy with the results. Would do it again no doubt.

My sister-in-law told my husband about it, and the best part is that they have everything separated, one section for dogs and another for cats. Ignacio (my cat) needed vaccinations. The receptionists were very friendly, and then the nurse and the veterinarian were excellent at explaining every detail. Even though Ignacio was scared, they handled him very carefully and lovingly so we all knew he was in good hands. There was also a very kind lady who gave him treads. We should definitely go back soon for more vaccinations and to get him fixed.
I hope to bring my dog ​​to this place too. ❤️

578 W Market St, AkronFirst of all, I am appalled by the one star reviews because I have been coming to Highland Vet following Dr. O'Connor from previous vet in Barberton. I travel fro Hartville to receive the best services. First of all, Covid and remodeling has left it a bit inconvenient, but sometimes there is a reason for long delays. I have had to put my animal down, and they took the time to care for my pet which probably caused a delay for another appointment. When I have to wait, I know that someone else's pet is getting the attention they need. They have treated at least 25 of my pets/rescues over the past 25 years. I have been to other vets in the past, but Highland Vet has treated all my pets with the best care, surgeries, and compassion at the end. Thank you all for your speedy prescriptions, knowledge, and the best care for my pets. They are so good with my Lucy who is going blind and has many issues. Thank you for the tips for Bosco who has a lot of Border Collie energy and behaviors. Thanks for caring!

Located in Pet Supplies Plus, 790 Arlington Ridge, AkronI would give 100 stars if I could! GREAT experience. Took my 15yr old cat for a rabies shot. VIP vets are very professional and it was super organized. Easy in and out and very affordable. I also had some paperwork that needed filled out by the vet, and they did it without question and a smile on their face. I highly recommend VIP PetCare Vaccination Clinic. Only cost $44 total. If I had taken him to my regular vet it would have cost well over $100 maybe even $200

625 N Cleveland Massillon Rd, AkronThis vet left an impression on me. Over 20 years ago, there was a stray black lab living around Goodyear’s HQ in Akron. It was late fall and after months of trying to trap the dog to adopt it, I was given Dr. Slenn’s number as he worked with a group who tried to find homes for strays. Dr Slenn volunteered to find the dog and use a tranquilizer dart to capture him.
Unfortunately, the stray dog had a rare condition that made him allergic to the tranquilizer and he died. I know he felt terrible about it as I did, but it was not his fault. This vet loves animals and tries his best! If I still lived in the area and had dogs he would be the first vet I would call!!!

1814 N Revere Rd, AkronGreat staff, dedicated and effective training. We have a 4 year old male Aussie who came from a farm. Great dog, super smart but we needed some help and guidance. We did the 4 week training. Upon completion of that, Collin came to our house without the dog first to train us and what’s to come when Cliff returned home. That was super helpful and set us up for success. Not only that, they are direct with their feedback to us humans too as it turned out the real problem was us not giving the dog what he needed as far as directions. They provided us with the direction and now we have the tools we needed. If your willing to learn your self and be consistent, the training is effective and the dog will want to work for you, that’s at least our experience!

Easdale: best pet care
1814 N Revere Rd, AkronSo I haven't been here for my dogs..... But I was going up a Hill That is right beside their kennel and was sliding off the road and pulled in the driveway. Erica came out to my car and was sooo very nice. She let me park there until the roads were clear and it quit snowing. The grounds are beautiful. I would totally recommend this place based on its looks and owner. Thank you again so much!!

Honestly the cinnamon cream cold brew is to die for! This is the only coffee shop that I have found to actually give me a run for my money with my coffee that I make at home.
My only complaint is that we need more locations in Ohio. Specifically near Akron Ohio.
