My golden doodle is a rescue from a puppy mill and Michelle took her time with Quinni and gained her trust. When Quinni got out of our fence we found her covered in bristles and dirt. This was by far the best place in town to get your dog groomed. I came from Columbus, Ohio to get Princess groomed. It's family owned and they treat your pets like family. All of our pets have gone on to doggy heaven. Colleen was their favorite groomer!!!

My sister-in-law told my husband about it, and the best part is that they have everything separated, one section for dogs and another for cats. Ignacio (my cat) needed vaccinations. The receptionists were very friendly, and then the nurse and the veterinarian were excellent at explaining every detail. Even though Ignacio was scared, they handled him very carefully and lovingly so we all knew he was in good hands. There was also a very kind lady who gave him treads. We should definitely go back soon for more vaccinations and to get him fixed.
I hope to bring my dog to this place too. ❤️

578 W Market St, AkronFirst of all, I am appalled by the one star reviews because I have been coming to Highland Vet following Dr. O'Connor from previous vet in Barberton. I travel fro Hartville to receive the best services. First of all, Covid and remodeling has left it a bit inconvenient, but sometimes there is a reason for long delays. I have had to put my animal down, and they took the time to care for my pet which probably caused a delay for another appointment. When I have to wait, I know that someone else's pet is getting the attention they need. They have treated at least 25 of my pets/rescues over the past 25 years. I have been to other vets in the past, but Highland Vet has treated all my pets with the best care, surgeries, and compassion at the end. Thank you all for your speedy prescriptions, knowledge, and the best care for my pets. They are so good with my Lucy who is going blind and has many issues. Thank you for the tips for Bosco who has a lot of Border Collie energy and behaviors. Thanks for caring!

It was late fall and after months of trying to trap the dog to adopt it, I was given Dr. Slenn’s number as he worked with a group who tried to find homes for strays. Dr Slenn volunteered to find the dog and use a tranquilizer dart to capture him.
Unfortunately, the stray dog had a rare condition that made him allergic to the tranquilizer and he died. I know he felt terrible about it as I did, but it was not his fault. This vet loves animals and tries his best! If I still lived in the area and had dogs he would be the first vet I would call!!!

So far, I’ve participated in the puppy class and am currently in the beginners class. Both classes have had wide varieties of breeds and owners & I’ve seen improvements with all dogs participating in the classes. Even if you know the basics of dog training, the structure of the class schedules and training materials that are provided have been extremely helpful and we’ve learned even more than I expected. If you follow the instructions, you’ll have a well-behaved dog. The classes are a solid combination of instructional time, training demonstrations, and time to practice the commands with your dog. There is also time for Q&A and they’ll provide hands on assistance and demonstrations for any specific issues you may be having. The puppy class included all types of information, such as basic commands training, potty/crate training, first aid, safety tips, grooming, and overall basic manners. The beginners class has continued to build on my dog’s leash, command, and impulse control skills. It’s a fun time to bond with your dog. My dog looks forward to going inside as soon as he realizes we’re in the parking lot. The facility is clean, spacious, and there’s a fenced in outdoor potty area in the back for any as-needed breaks. Definitely recommend them to everyone!

Easdale: best pet care
1814 N Revere Rd, AkronSo I haven't been here for my dogs..... But I was going up a Hill That is right beside their kennel and was sliding off the road and pulled in the driveway. Erica came out to my car and was sooo very nice. She let me park there until the roads were clear and it quit snowing. The grounds are beautiful. We ordered the mussels and octopus for appetizers which were very good. I ordered the salmon, I wasn't crazy about the risotto but the salmon was good. My mom ordered the table side pasta tossed in a giant Parmesan wheel which was very good. My husband ordered the chicken Parmesan was very big and delicious. My dad ordered the branzino. Service was great and we had a wonderful time.
