Even with the occasional lost package at the sorting facility or special request the counter staff is very helpful throughout the entire issue. I sometimes have to use others with one window and one cranky staff member and then I kick myself and say should've just gone to Ellet.”

“We do the best we can. Just like any other place of employment - you have good and bad employees. It is not an easy job. We are humans and make mistakes like everyone else. We are timed, followed, monitored, deliver in any kind of weather, many of us do not stop from the time we swipe in until the time we swipe out. Not to use the restroom or eat. New carriers get brought on all the time and if they don’t know the route - things may get delivered wrong or not at all. Even harder when you don’t know the area. Please understand that we deliver anywhere from 100 to 600 packages a day on top of the mail. Personally - I walk anywhere from 12 to 16 miles a day, climb at least 20 flights of stairs all while carrying up to 40 pounds in my bag and arms.”
