“It's been a year and 9 months since the opening of this store. It is usually busy when I am there. Friends and neighbors in the area are happy we have a store so close. I am thankful Dollar General's Market Planning Department took time to analyze the information I sent in 2017 and opened a store in the North Star area. Prior to opening this store, the closest Dollar General stores were: St. Henry, Ohio - 9.1 miles away, Ansonia, Ohio - 10.4 miles away, Versailles, Ohio - 11.6 miles away, Celina, Ohio (5696 Us Rte 127) - 10.2 miles away, and Fort Recovery, Ohio - 14.3 miles away from current location. “Ive only been in here once or twice. Pretty average for the most part. The employees are polite, not necessarily above and beyond, but perfectly acceptable for their jobs. I did have a deli worker get a bit snippy with me, but I also overheard the only other person helping her state that she needed to find a new closer which tells me she was understaffed and overworked. Not sure if it was just this day in particular or if this is an ongoing struggle since I dont visit often. Nothing wrong here, but nothing to write home about.”
