“Typical small town overpriced grocery store. Smells old and has a small assortment of skus that are typically 20 to 40 percent more expensive than other grocers. Where they get you are the homemade baked goods from small local bakeries that are delicious.”
“This location has improved in the past three months. I used to avoid going here because it was a mess and it used to take a long time to get thru the check-out line. It's still a little messy but not like before when they were leaving big box carts in the middle of the aisles, and they've hired more people so the check-out process is quicker now. I'm always greeted with a friendly "hello" now too!”
“I love going to Aldi and getting healthier snacks for the kids. They are great options that are natural and have less preservatives or no food coloring. And as an adult, their Red Thunder drinks are just an off-brand Red Bull that is just as good.”
“My wife and I always shop here. The produce is always fresh, and while they might not have as big as a stock as kroger, its always cheaper and no difference in quality.”
“Very nice and clean carry out with a deli and pre made sandwiches and salads that are very good and reasonable. I bought enough food for my shop of 2 ppl to last us a week for lunch for under $30.00 including two pops.I will be back!!”
“Meijers has what you need! Everything from pet food to human food pharmacy Island shoes you name it a complete department store clean the employees are friendly a lovely shopping experience but that's for the one on 665 in Grove City”
“OMFG LOVE THIS PLACE ITS SO UNDER RATED THE WOMAN IN HERE ARE LIFE!!!! ALSO THEY STARTED THIS DRINK BAR IN THERE (NON ALCOHOLIC DRINKS) AND... ???. JUST SPEECHLESS. I always go in for something simple and leave feeling lighter because we have some really good heart to heart conversations. Some of the best fun loving beautiful souls I have yet to meet in this town... Seriously go get one of their drinks I'm not joking I'm addicted”
“Pettit’s market is a great place to stop for gas, needs between supper market visits and lunch. They have a fantastic deli and short order lunch bar with plenty of seating .”
“Always go to Kroger. It's close by, prices are competative. Friendly folks. A few weeks ago I pulled up to the little building at the gas pumps. I had had foot surgery and the employee saw me struggling and came to my car. Said I'll get you whatever you want. Great?”
“Very knowledgeable and friendly staff at this pharmacy. Melissa went above and beyond to help me save $80 co-pay on a new prescription. I appreciate the professionalism at this Walmart pharmacy.”
“They have really friendly staff don’t get me wrong. I love talking to you all always. However, when I refill my meds I have different dosages for 2. And I try not to complain, truly I do, but luckily one is a half and the other is a whole and i’m able to alternate. It just really frustrates me at times. I get it we all make mistakes. We are human. But when I have different dosages for meds and my dr tries to prescribe them all at the same time it’s convenient for me. I’ve been dealing with this for a while. And again I normally don’t complain. But when it’s been happening for a while it gets frustrating. Bc now I’m out of refills for 1 med and the other I have refills for. You guys do such a good job in other aspects don’t get me wrong. But that does get really frustrating for someone. I normally don’t complain but when it’s constant that’s what frustrates me.”
“I think the employees are always so nice will take care of you with a smile and also they have a drive thru best thing ever so if you want to meet some really nice and down home people that's the place to go to”
“This is an excellent location. It is very clean and well-operated. The cashier is usually the same worker and he is just a fanatic person and joy to be around. He’s professional and upbeat. This is one of the nicest, if not the best. DG I have visited.”
“Everything is good except for one thing. Egglands best I love them. But for some reason the eggs are broken or cracked every time. I don't know if it was on purpose but it's almost like somebody is intentionally doing that in by Kroger brand. Needless to say, I will not be shopping at Kroger's i might shop elsewhere for eggs.”
“I love the Kroger Pharmacy, whether it's Kroger or the employees. The Circleville location is no exception. Paul is great. There's another tall kid with glasses that is so great, and the pharmacists are great. My meds are always filled/refilled on time. The website/app is super helpful. I won't switch any time soon.”
“It's a wonderful place to shop you feel good and excited and ready to go shopping that's me all day long it's a very nice experience thank you for having me GOD Bless You All good luck everybody and have a beautiful holiday amen.”
“Had to get in and get just a few items had to run to the restroom and it was very clean. The staff was very nice and welcoming. I was able to find things very quickly cause it was labeled easily and we’ll plan on going back and shopping there again.”
“We stopped at the Groveport Kroger while passing through, and it honestly felt like a different universe. Most grocery stores blast music so loud I have to wear headphones just to shop. The noise usually gives me a headache and makes it hard to think. But here? The music was at a calm, normal level — no pounding bass, no wailing vocals. For the first time in 30 years, I could actually shop in peace. In a world where “extremely noisy” is the default, this Kroger stands out as one of the very few that truly respects sensory needs all day long. It’s a welcoming environment for autistic shoppers, people with Asperger’s, ADHD, migraine triggers, or anyone with noise sensitivity. If you want a quieter, more accessible shopping experience, it’s worth the drive from anywhere in Columbus. I’ve heard stores blast loud music to make customers rush and spend impulsively. That’s backward. I actually bought more here because I could think clearly. Huge shoutout to Austin, the assistant manager — incredibly friendly and customer‑focused. Complements to the manager, as well. This store is a rare pearl, and I hope corporate takes note! #SensoryFriendlyShopping #AutisticFriendly #AspergersSupport #NoiseSensitivity #NoisePollution #QuietGroceryStore #AccessibleShopping #ADHDFriendly #MigraineFriendly #ColumbusOhio #GroveportKroger #SensoryOverload #InclusiveShopping #ShopInPeace”
“Just want to praise the sweet girl that was bagging my groceries. I had a bottle of limeade that was leaking and she ran back to get me another bottle..bless her heart..I didn't even know it was leaking.. Thank you so much.”
“The Kroger bakery killed my cupcake order for an affordable price! Highly recommend! Thanks for making such cute sparkly cupcakes for my daughter’s birthday party!”
“Staff is great but can we please open back up the self checkout ? I get it people steal but the rest of us are waiting in very long lines at your store , you have insurance to cover such things please open the self check outs back up ! Dollar General you spent all that money on the self check out so make your money back at this location !”
“This is my go to Kroger. I love the fuel points that I can earn especially in times of when gas prices are high. They can be out of common items often but price is fair. I can never find anyone when I need help locating an item. I search row after row and it's like they are hiding in the isles because they know I'm searching for them.”
“The folks at this pharmacy go above and beyond to take care of their customers more than any place I have see . A special shout out to Kennedy who helped me solve an issue with a prescription that was lost during travel! Your efforts do not go unnoticed and are incredibly appreciated!”
“Stopped to get fuel and DEF while pulling the horse trailer with a sick horse inside late at night. Liz found us DEF, then brought out her tools to help us get the stuck cap off the DEF inlet. Liz was so kind, understanding and saved the day! Thanks Liz!”
“Had the best experience today when cashing out with Dylan he was polite, professional, and fast. Very happy with my service would definitely recommend over Walmart”
“Just the friendliest, most helpful people working in my Kroger pharmacy. They're so courteous and personable. Whether you've used them 10 years or you're a first-time customer. These are just good people.”
“I love going to the dollar store always walk in to get one or two things walk out with seven or eight things it just seem to have a little bit of everything you need. I'm frequent shopper there.”
“This has been my pharmacy for over 20 years. I've never had any issues. They're always friendly. The pharmacists are always willing to answer any questions. Go above and beyond to help you resolve whatever concerns you have. They are a very busy pharmacy so you will have to wait a little bit. Overall, great experience”
The Cincinnati-based supermarket giant will open about 110 new stores in fast-growing markets by 2029 and introduce three updated store formats, executives told investors Oct. 20 at the company’s Investor Update in New York. Kroger already runs about 2,700 stores in 35 states. The formats come in three sizes, a bit like small, medium and large, matched to each market. Mary Ellen Adcock, Kroger’s executive vice president and chief merchant and marketing officer, walked through the lineup.
Walmart shoppers want a head start on the holidays, and money explains a lot of it. Some 44% of respondents call affording the holidays their top stressor, and 61% say holiday costs shape their shopping mood. Asked what would make the season easier, 70% picked lower prices and 57% picked more deals and promotions. Convenience ranks lower: 30% want one-stop shopping across categories, and 20% want faster delivery.
Walmart wants your groceries at the door before the ice cream softens. On May 29, the retailer said its 30-minute-or-less delivery had reached 33 U.S. markets, adding a wave of new cities across the Northeast. Shoppers in those areas can order from more than 100,000 items, everything from fresh produce and baby formula to pet food, electronics, cold medicine, and prescriptions. Behind the scenes, the service leans on Walmart's store network and an algorithm that factors in order size, available drivers, and distance from the store.
Trader Joe's keeps adding stores, and shoppers keep showing up. The California grocer has marked nine more locations as "opening soon," pushing its expansion into new corners of the country. The grocer also took first place in the American Customer Satisfaction Index's 2026 supermarket rankings. It has held a spot near the top of that list for years.
Target is rolling out its most ambitious store overhaul in more than ten years, with plans to remodel over 130 locations and open 30 new stores across the country this year. The retailer is also putting money into supply chain technology upgrades to keep pace with how shoppers buy today.
