“Inside it was so tranquil. Warm and clean. It had such a nice hushed atmosphere like when you walk into a quiet museum. My wife and I felt that we should whisper. Such a pleasant change from the overly crowded in-your-face crappy food and junk snacks. You can watch the cars getting washed which the kids thought was the best! Outside it was so clean. An employee was walking around. He was neat and very presentable with his clean uniform tucked in. He greeted me as he walked by and was cleaning the pump guards. Overall this was a totally different experience at a gas station and I told my wife I’m now officially spoiled.”

“This might just be the most popular place of Aurora. This station is packed with cars trying to get gas at certain peak times, and the trick is.. don't go there after work. It is a hot spot! Other times, and most times i go there, there is no wait and the pumps are in good shape and i get my gas, re-park, stop in the store and I am on my way.. The employees are friendly and helpful and you often leave smiling because they make you feel like they are glad you stopped in.”

“Went here because our Pharmacy didn't have the medicine our daughter needed. Dan the Pharmacist....what a nice guy. Talked to him over the phone and in-person, just a genuine and caring person. This feel reminds me of when small pharmacies knew everybody in town and didn't just treat them as a "stranger". Dan was talking to somebody about a recent procedure a customer had and asked how they were. When I was picking up the prescription, he was talking to another customer about their husband. This Pharmacy isn't far from us, I may just consider moving my family's scripts to this Walgreens just to benefit from this care and service.”

The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades.
