“I needed a stain to match my new maple bathroom vanity, and Star City was the perfect place to go. Aaron and Andrea were knowledgeable and friendly, and took the steps to make sure the color was exactly right. I was so pleased with the final result. I highly recommend Star City Paint to anyone looking for expert color matching.”
“I ordered paint online from a different company and it didn't work out. So I came to Performance Paint & Supply 30 mins before closing and they saved my life. Really great paint for a good price. Super cool dudes running this place. Tons of options of paint to choose from. Highly recommending this place to all my friends. We'll for sure be back!”
“Staff is very courteous & accommodating. The Sales Associate Mike was very knowledgeable & helpful, addressed all my questions. The manager Nick told me about the contractor's account which allowed me to purchase paint at a reduced cost. Highly recommend this location.”
“Very difficult to find a color match on a Millennium Falcon on earth, queue Sherwin-Williams! These employees went above and beyond to find the exact color match! Spent some time on Mustafar and a few areas faded. Thank you for going above and beyond!”
“The associates at this store are awesome!! I called to ask a few questions about my project and followed up with an online order for pick up in store. When the associate saw I had ordered oil based for my project, she called me, just to make sure. And sure enough I ordered incorrectly. She fixed up the order and had it ready for pick soon after. She was great!”
“The guys here were amazing helping me out. I needed something durable for my barn. BJ helped select the type of paint and they color matched what my wife had picked out at another place. Definitely getting all my paint here when I finish my basement!”
“Everyone is always soo nice and helpful every time I’ve been in. I’m the most indecisive person when it comes to paint and one of the girls looked at what I had already painted and suggested colors that would match it. Project is done and it looks great! The guys are also just as helpful and patient when I have no idea what I need.”
“I thought I was informed and equipped to paint my two exterior doors. But the salesman/manager told me no need to prime the door. WRONG! The door had been painted in oil, I was applying RESILIENCE latex. Results: CATASTROPHE! I returned to the store the next day with pictures of what looked and felt like a pimply basketball surface. I was given new paint, a stripper and I bought a primer. Then I started all over again. The results...BEAUTIFUL! Lesson learned: ALWAYS PRIME! AND USE SHERWIN WILLIAMS. Good product and great personal assistance.”
“I have gone to this store several times and most of the employees are rude and not helpful. There's one employee that seems to be very helpful. The younger guy with longer hair seems to avoid Answering questions.”
“It's ok. The formula for paint changes apparently... that's what they told us. So even if you know the name or color, it's not always the same. You kind of have to know the exact mix. Otherwise, it's convenient.”
“I have had to come in twice because of me being indecisive. Both times Austin has helped. He is so patient and kind and treats everyone like you are the only person in that store even though the first time was pretty busy. He was also very helpful narrowing down colors for me. It was so nice to have great customer service!”

“Great staff members. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Helped us choose paint for several different projects. Highly recommend this particular store.EDIT 06-20-2023: My wife and I painted the living room over the weekend. On one wall we used the remainder of a previous paint can purchased from a big box store (BBS). It is their signature paint, so I am not making a comparison to the cheapest paint available. We used this paint because it is extending the colour from another room. The other walls were painted using Sherwin Williams (SW) and is a different colour.I painted using two different brands of paint back to back. It is important to note that both paints were the mid-range quality. I am not comparing SW's best paint to the BBS' worst. I cannot get over the quality difference between the two. The BBS paint is watery and I feel like I have to fight with it to apply. And it runs! I repeatedly had to go back and correct runs. 3 days later the paint still feels tacky to the touch. The SW paint was easy to work with. It is thicker, goes on very easy, and does not run. 12 hours after painting the paint was dry and wasn't the least bit tacky.I'm a believer and so happy our friend told us to got to Sherwin Williams.”
“Stopped by a couple of days ago to pick up some touch-up paint I had ordered online. Order was just right, store looked fine, employees were nice--icing on the cake was unexpectedly having an employee open the door for me on my way out. WOW--a rarity in customer service! Kudos--such a small, kind gesture, but spoke volumes in today's society! THANK YOU! :)”
