“If you are looking for a reputable muffler shop in this area, look no further.
My Lexus es300 needed a full flex pipe + catalytic converter replacement, urgently at that. Initially took it to Norwoods Muffler off Lee road in Shaker, they quoted me 800 for parts + labor, and I knew that was totally gouged.
Went online, did all the research, found the right part on eBay for $140, and then I called Five Star Muffler (not every repair shop will work with a customer part) they told me as long as it's the right part they'll have it done in 2 hours for between $150 and $250 in labor only cost. Brought it in and sure enough 2.5 hours and 216 bucks later my lexus is running like a dream; amazing work, timely fashion, and they walked me through everything they did with clarity. If you feel like you're being quoted too high, trust your gut and call here for anything exhaust related; initial 800 for parts and labor? vs 356 total?? for nothing more than a litttle extra looking around? Don't settle for anything less, They will get you right.”
