“I frequent this Family Dollar with my Autistic son, I cannot tell you enough how AMAZING the employees are here.My son is a bit rambunctious, there are at least 5 ladies who work here who greet us so excitedly, they’re patient & kind when things don’t go smoothly, they offer to help carry things to my car on days they see me having to hold my 65lb son, they even push the bell up to the front of the counter because they know he loves it! The customer service & kindness you get walking into this store is truly above & beyond, I cannot praise the employees in this store enough. Outside of the handful who go above & beyond, I have great interactions with all employees at this location.”

I purchased 5 dispensers; would have like to purchase 6, but I'll work it out for $5! Self checkout was easy. “Due to the lack of employees in the recent past shelves were not stocked. But it's getting Much better...Here's a tip:::If you don't see what you want on the shelf, ask someone who works there, if they have it out back BC They Probably do. Employees are very nice and easy to talk to. Like I said before The store is looking better and being stocked. I am kind of bias tho' bc I shop there ALL THE TIME. I only gave 4 stars bc of the few empty shelves. Employees are very pleasant and are willing to help in any way.”

“To me they got way better stuff than Krazy bins all day!! They were crowded too! ppl was throwing stuff in they carts like crazy!! Most ppl come to buy stuff to resale it for more money! My student told me about it so I figured I checkedm out! I went Saturday morning which was there $10 day. You can get a good deal here! Saturdays is there restock day! Bins where packed! They had some good useful item still in and out of boxes. I grabbed a couple things surprisingly lol. You gotta check it out!”

They don’t push people out near closing like most locations employees do. This DG also has a nice produce little section! Most locations DO NOT HAVE THIS. “This one on Broadway and southgate is the best the one on e143 and kinsman those young girls and that one lady Mr need to go to a class on how to talk to your customers correct. I don’t know if there’s not enough staff, technical issues, product problems-but when it is open, the place is a mess! Close it or secure better management! I miss shopping here!”

“Well first of all I definitely prefer this Save-A-Lot to the other Save-A-Lot in my neighborhood. The security officers at this location don't look at everyone and then they're going to stay low and follow you around like you're some kind of thug!!! The staff are much more helpful and nice then the other location as well. This location is also cleaner and actually I stocked shelves and coolers. The produce is also a lot fresher you don't find rotten produce out to be purchased. This location also does not require you to have a quarter to use a cart. I also feel safer at this location.”
