“The store is very clean and well stocked. They had the best sweetest big grapes last week!! Some prices are a deal, but for the most part, prices are like everywhere else.”

“I should NOT say this, but I will.....T-BONE STEAKS!!!!! Dang it, I gave away my secret. They are three to a pack (perfect for MY family size) and I can get THREE packages here for the same price that I would pay for ONE elsewhere. This store has some of the BEST meats (I don't eat pork). They also have some priced to sell meats as well (meaning you need to make them the day of purchase or the next day or immediately freeze them). Just because it says Save A Lot doesn't mean that everything is off brand. THERE ARE A LOT OF HIGH QUALITY NAME BRANDS HERE (sorry for yelling.....LOL!). I have gotten a lot of "two fors" here in the produce section. If you want to make your money go a long way, I recommend checking out their meats and other name brand items when you get a chance. You can always go to whatever other grocery store you frequent and get the rest of your food items if need be.”

“I lost my wallet at this store. I did not know that at the time, thought I lost it at another store before arriving there. Long story short, the guy I always speak to and is so very kind to respond and acknowledge me, showed up at my apartment today with wallet, everything in tact, I mean everything, quite a bit of cash, credit cards, important information, like nothing was moved. Thank God for this man and I am forever indebted to him even though everything was cancelled out and replaced. I can’t describe what this means to me there aren’t enough words. I have live in this neighborhood for 15yrs. This store has been my go to all these years for things like birthday bags, decorations, oils, shopping carts , rugs, electrical cords, small tools , etc.. IYKYK, simple as that. Thank you Sir, I don’t know you and you don’t know me besides our interactions as a proprietor and a customer, but you have exceeded that with your kind soul for going over and beyond. “This one on Broadway and southgate is the best the one on e143 and kinsman those young girls and that one lady Mr need to go to a class on how to talk to your customers correct. If they were in a white neighborhood they would act different I spend slot of money in family dollar.and the store on e130 and buckeye those young girl don't have any respect I raised my daughter well. But family dollar is going to lose alot of business because of these kids with attitude just look in your cameras and listen to your audio. Give that job to someone who needs it thank-you”

“Well to put it plainly the mang.is I'll write the best manager I've seen around the store with straight courtesy admiration I would past 10 stores location 10 of the Dollar General stores just to shop at their location when you need somebody like that in corporate teaching the managers how they act and treat their employees so they can teach each other how to treat the customers I think she's just terrific I love going there want to leave I feel all bubbly inside and warm I've never seen her come unglued I don't ever seen or talked to him to a customer rude or disrespectful e she's a woman that outrun my source thank you the big guy”

“It's clear this DG store is under new management! The employees are for the most part good and helpful. Shelves are starting to be restocked and more products are available. When I first came in to get a few items a few months ago it was shocking at how terrible the whole store looked. I am so glad there is some pride and drive being brought back to a store that would have most likely shut down by now.”
