“Studios on High Gallery was one of the participating galleries of the monthly Gallery Hop. It is home to 18 artists of different mediums. For the month of August, they are featuring Yesterday's Tomorrow World by Tracy Greenwalt. I enjoyed looking at the different metaphysical themes, including salt shakers, water towers, corn, and bugs. I also enjoyed looking at mixed media pieces by Marty Husted, ceramic sculptures by Denise Romecki, printmaking by Jennifer Jolley-Brown, and cityscapes oil paintings by Jessica Wojtasek.”

You can tell so much thought, planning, and care has gone into each product. The scents are absolutely wonderful, my skin feels so good after I use them in the shower, the packaging is all eco-friendly and I cannot recommend them enough! If I could give more than five stars I would in a heartbeat! I also appreciate that not only do they sell soaps they sell candles, crystals, and bath bombs!”

“I love my custom plantation-style interior shutters. I chose the wood shutters with invisible opening mechanism, painted white. My house is over 100 years old, still with original windows and trim. The shutters were installed in one day and are beautiful -- just what my home deserved. The salesman and the installer where great to work with, efficient and did a fantastic job. With summer sun on the way, this is a great investment in keeping my house cool and upgrading its value. Couldn't be happier!”

“Georgie's is a sweet little shop in Canal Winchester. Canal itself is a lovely small town with several shops and eateries to spend an afternoon. A spacious store, much larger than the previous location, where you can find shabby style, vintage, clothing, jewelry, candles, some furniture and other decor. A great place to find gifts and a relaxing place to shop. They are only open Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Roomy parking lot which is a plus.”

“Ok I am obsessed with this store, though I haven't bought a lot of things from here. It has been on High St for decades(?)-- before all the other boutiques and cool shops, Karavan was there amongst the art galleries that were once only speckled throughout the Short North. I loved it even as a teenager walking by with my friends. From the window, you are dazzled by a plethora of gorgeous glass mosaic lamps and jewelry, which is enough to make you want to come inside. The interior is colorful in every direction you look. They have everything from handmade clothing to hand-woven rugs, plus other beautiful home decor items. Recently I found out that if you purchase one of their mosaic globe lamps, the owner will allow you to bring the glass back and switch it out for a different color of globe whenever you want! Literally amazing. It's like the lamp that keeps on giving. I'm working towards my next big goal so I can justify buying one for myself as a reward because they aren't cheap, but they look to be worth every penny. Love Karavan!”
