“I've received a few gift boxes as presents and I just have to say that this is the best store I have ever gotten soaps from. You can tell so much thought, planning, and care has gone into each product. The scents are absolutely wonderful, my skin feels so good after I use them in the shower, the packaging is all eco-friendly and I cannot recommend them enough! If I could give more than five stars I would in a heartbeat! I also appreciate that not only do they sell soaps they sell candles, crystals, and bath bombs!”

“Studios on High Gallery was one of the participating galleries of the monthly Gallery Hop. It is home to 18 artists of different mediums. For the month of August, they are featuring Yesterday's Tomorrow World by Tracy Greenwalt. I enjoyed looking at the different metaphysical themes, including salt shakers, water towers, corn, and bugs. I also enjoyed looking at mixed media pieces by Marty Husted, ceramic sculptures by Denise Romecki, printmaking by Jennifer Jolley-Brown, and cityscapes oil paintings by Jessica Wojtasek.”

“I saw an item online that I wanted for years. I immediately paid for it which was super easy. My partner was dropping off items to sell and he brought the Vintage Butter Churner home for me. I literally teared up, it was even better than I had expected! With the ever changing inventory OMT is a treasure trove of eclectic finds. Also reselling could not be any easier. Prices are very fair for both buyers and sellers. The staff is always friendly. Besides having great finds you are helping the environment when shopping. “I visited Elm and Iron Clintonville, 3475 N. High St. in the "Clintonville" neighborhood of Columbus, on 11-24-2023. I have often walked past there while on my way somewhere else; I decided to actually visit there on the day after Thanksgiving.Elm and Iron Clintonville sells high-end home furnishings, accessories, and décor. They have been at their Clintonville location since 2012; they now also have a location at Easton Town Center and a warehouse [open Monday-Friday by appointment only] in Grandview.I had been greatly impressed by the quality of the merchandise that is for sale at Elm and Iron and the high-quality way in which that merchandise is displayed.I had visited there at dusk; the several photographs that I had taken while I had been there had been quite dramatic because of the quality of the light that had been coming in through the windows.The building in which Elm and Iron is housed had been built in 1929 to be a new location for a business in downtown Columbus whose main purpose had been to sell automobile tires. The Clintonville location of that business, according to a 1929 article in The Columbus Dispatch, offered complete motor car service.It is obvious, when looking at the architectural style of the Elm and Iron building, that that building had been constructed for a business whose main purpose would be to repair cars.If you are looking for some high-end home furnishings, accessories, and décor, I strongly recommend Elm and Iron.”

Be sure to check the website before visiting. The warehouse is full of treasures, from art, furniture, and decor. The selection is better than the local vintage stores and prices are very reasonable. If you are looking for midcentury pieces, make sure Dawn of Retro is on your list!”

“Ok I am obsessed with this store, though I haven't bought a lot of things from here. It has been on High St for decades(?)-- before all the other boutiques and cool shops, Karavan was there amongst the art galleries that were once only speckled throughout the Short North. I loved it even as a teenager walking by with my friends. From the window, you are dazzled by a plethora of gorgeous glass mosaic lamps and jewelry, which is enough to make you want to come inside. The interior is colorful in every direction you look. They have everything from handmade clothing to hand-woven rugs, plus other beautiful home decor items. Recently I found out that if you purchase one of their mosaic globe lamps, the owner will allow you to bring the glass back and switch it out for a different color of globe whenever you want! Literally amazing. It's like the lamp that keeps on giving. I'm working towards my next big goal so I can justify buying one for myself as a reward because they aren't cheap, but they look to be worth every penny. Love Karavan!”
