“Such an adorable little shop tucked away in the cozy downtown Vermilion area! We stopped in to see what the shop was all about. The associate was kind and welcoming & explained to us the process of sampling the oils and vinaigrettes! No pressure on sales just a kind welcome! You can sample the products & there is a little pitcher of water to cleanse your pallet! The strawberry vinaigrette was so delicious! I hope to return to choose some to craft my own dressing! So many options!”
“I’ve been coming to Piggy’s for my entire life. I remember riding my bike to the store for a snack as a young kid. Now days my wife and I stop regularly for drinks, a sandwich or the occasional ingredient you ran out of. The employees offer a kind small town kind of welcoming when you enter and excellent service while you’re in. I’m glad to see a small business thriving. Keep up the great work.”

“I grew up going to this place all the time and it is amazing! The staff are very friendly, the prices are good, and the food is great quality! When my nana had dementia and would visit everyday to chat with the employees they always made sure to make her feel welcome- even when she couldn’t remember where she was or who exactly she was talking to. It’s a little shop, but it’s definitely worth the stop!”
“It’s just a Dollar General but I live in South Amherst so it’s really close and there’s normally everything you can want in there. It’s just a little Dollar General and I really like it because there’s decorations food, clothes, toys and so on.”
“I go to this store because it is convient and usually no complaints, mostly always friendly, but today the tall thin young man and a girl with purple hair were there and not paying attention more interested in ordering food. But the card reader didn't except my card with the chip so I swiped it and It asked for a pin, which I was going to use as credit card so I pushed the green button and everything cleared out so with 3 people behind me I proceed to redo it and the two were actually were rude and said more or less it was my fault, which I didn't appreciate at all, anyway I checked out, but seriously isn't customer service first???

“Easy to find Dollar General store off if the main road, you literally can’t miss it. They offer the normal stuff, from foods to household, to odds and ends. They always have a selection of seasonal items for each holiday and a pretty decent sale/clearance section. The store is clean and well stocked, the employees very pleasant and helpful. Plenty of parking and handicap accessible.”
“It is a carry out. Only thing it's missing is seating. Food was fantastic. We shared Joe Joes (potato wedges), 2 piece chicken, 2 pieces of pizza (it was great - especially the ham & bacon plus extremely good cole slaw. Haven't ate the chef salad yet but it looks amazing. We will be going back!”

“Travis and his team in the pharmacy took a rough situation with me struggling to get medication desperately needed for a DVT blood clot that I just got diagnosed with. Everyone in town would not fill it because it was a free sample pack that the ER told me to go get. They wouldn’t fill it cuz they wanted me to pay out of pocket so it was a waste of their time both pharmacies in vermilion got rid of me right away. Travis researched it and contacted my dr to get me the medication I needed and supply the sample pack the ER was sending me in for. Travis went above and beyond as well as his staff and drug mart management in vermilion! I will never go anywhere else for scrips and will tell everyone about how they really were selfless in helping a customer in a humanitarian aspect instead of what’s in it for me like RA and GE if you know what I mean!”
