“A hidden gem in a beautiful community. Perfect little spot to grab a book, head up to Alms and dive right in. Walking inside actually brought me back to a memory, or a vague idea of one. The smell of books, brightly colored and shelved. I didn’t know what I was after, I just felt around until something spoke to me. It was a great experience. I’ll definitely be back.It got me thinking, obviously enough to write this review. But when I was a kid, we stopped supporting these quirky little treasures of our community. We started buying our books at giant megabookstores until Amazon came in and… well… ya know. They kinda went extinct as a result. And when they were gone, we missed them and wanted them back. It’s so nice to see one return and The Bookery is exemplary of why they’re needed.So what if it wasn’t the absolute cheapest price I could have bought it for across the entirety of the internet. I got my money back with the experience.Five stars.”
“My fiancé and I visited The Book Matters last week for the first time. We chose to explore Milford and out of the several shops we visited we were pleasantly surprised with this unique little shop. Friendly staff, cute layout and some interesting hidden treasures! ? ”
“I was visiting Covington for work. I was walking around when I saw this place on the corner. Decided to stop in. Nice vibe with various rooms full of books and Cindy didn't to sit and read. I didn't have time to do that but I did order a tumeric gold drink and a yummy cookie to go. Next I might have more time to sit and enjoy.”
“Enjoyed stopping by and seeing the wonderful items. Would stop by again. It is a normal antique store in which you find the antiques and Primitives and then the kind of garage sale type items. Their inventory covers many different people as they search for that special item. Worth the time to stop by and see if you can find what you are looking for”

“Very good place to find OLD texts in good shape. As a person that collects cookbooks and hosts parties, there was quite a selection of books for me to choose from. The younger staff member was very friendly and helped me move the ladder to the section I wanted. While I can’t speak on much else, I can say that this store is worth a visit if you like roaming the stacks.”
“I love this location! YUMMY food, DELICIOUS drinks, and the loveliest ambiance/feel as you peruse through the different worlds of literature. I love the different seating options here, and the restroom is so beautifully decorated, yet has a homey feel. It makes me feel like I'm at a loved ones home, having a delicious bite to eat and a soothing drink, as I find a cozy spot to get lost in a good book. All the goods at this place! Definitely recommend stopping by this cute coffeeshop-bookstore.”

“Rented the oratory and lawn for a private event. The facility was absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect location for such an important gathering. However, the exceptional kindness of the women who run the place was so very appreciated. Elizabeth in particular was a refreshing, calm voice during a hectic time. I would absolutely encourage anyone to consider Grailville as the location for their next celebration.”
“I'm a resident of NKY, and attend my own local library's sales when I can. But I found found this magical place via Facebook, and I haven't been able to stop thinking about it since! I can't wait to visit them again once they're back from their well-deserved holiday. I was able to get a box full of books - all in such good condition - for less than $50. You can't get that kind of deal anywhere else! Can't wait to go back! :)”

“It was great going back to the bookstore and getting some swag. I graduated in 1990 and promptly left Cincinnati. Just moved back after 30 years away. It was amazing being back on campus. The bookstore is very large, clean and lots of stuff. Purchase a new hat, car decal and some stickers.”
