“I LOVE The Bookery, and whether you're a local or someone visiting out of town, The Bookery is an absolute gem. The owners and staff alike are delightfully kind, super friendly, and will help you find any book. I'm also, as a mom of younger kids at the time of this review, absolutely in love with the kids nook that they have. My oldest loves to sit in the little cubby area or camp out at the kid table and quietly enjoy books which gives me time to peruse my own interests while keeping an eye on them - there's something and a place for everyone!
They have a really fantastic selection across all the genres and there has been several books that, even when they don't have them in stock, I can reach out to them in person, by phone, or by email and they will help me get what I'm looking for while making it a kind, warm experience. I also love seeing all that they do for the local community and area, and I have been a past participant in their awesome book club which is also great to join!
The world needs none of the giant corporate cash grab companies, and all of the incomparable treasure shops like The Bookery that are irreplaceable both in what they give and do, and how they treat people. Be sure to stop in, it's more than worth it!”
“Loved attending the Ally Authors of Faith Event with the author of A Kenotic Way of Contemplative Healing, Susan Carson, and The Congruent Life: Liberation, Healing, and the Future of Faith, C.E. Jarnagin. Great discussions, great books, and awesome new personal connections made!”

“Absolutely kind and amazing service Mr.Jim is one of a kind and his book store is something I've never seen. This atmosphere is very majestic and a mystical feeling and just know when you meet Mr.Jim you'll be taken care of with care and appreciation. I will be returning with my family this time💫”
“So much love for the Cincy Book Bus! Wonderful collection of curated books that are so beautiful. I especially love the Manderely Press and Persephone collections. Plus they are a non-profit and donate new books to kids who need them. I love a good book treasure hunt and there is always something new to find :)”
“Wow huge used bookstore! Very well run and organized. Great job! Prices are individually priced. A big higher in price as most items are 1 to 5 dollars. Maybe more for recent releases. Very happy we came!”
“This is a super cute, well-curated, and community-minded little bookstore. They usually ah e all the current releases, as well as many of the popular books over recent years. If they don’t have it in they are always willing to order it. Prices are similar to what you’ll find at any other bookstore, so there’s no reason not to support local! They also have more book club options than any other bookstore in the area and the picks are generally fire! The events they host have always been wonderful and have helped develop such a great bookish community. They also have such a great location on the bike trail, and it makes it easy to grab a book, go get a coffee or lunch and read for a bit then take off for an easy walk around the area. We love this spot!”
“Lovely little local bookstore. Great selection of all kinds of books. It was very cozy inside and easy to browse. I absolutely love the little book recommendations vending machine.”
“I purchased a Bible for my then 16 year old grandson at this store. He loved the illustrations and the way the stories are written. The staff here a wonderful. You can see Christ in their every move and spoken words. What a blessing to have these ladies on staff.”
“Such a welcoming and caring environment as soon as I walked in we were greeted and they moved through a line quickly and efficiently! I was not fully sure what flavors I wanted in my latte and they gave great recommendations! Absolutely loved my experience and getting to wander around the bookshop side of things.”
“I love Barnes and Noble. They did not have the book I was looking for. It was an older book and in reprint. They did tell me it would be available in July. It was very clean.”
“At first when I called to ask if they had this book they said they had the book I wanted in the store, I got there and the lady said they didn’t have it, but I said could you please show me where this may be at, she still took me to show me, magically the book I wanted appeared. I was so happy. And I got it :)”
“Barnes and Nobles is always a great experience. You can easily find the categories you're looking for which are displayed well. The magazine section Is very extensive. If you sign up for membership you are entitled to a free tote - the blue was my choice this year. Also with the membership you get discounts on your purchases! You could spend an hour just browsing around. It is worth the time spent away from computers and phones for a little bit- you owe it to yourself to drop in.”
“I wanted to ship a couple of books as a Christmas gift at fairly short notice to the UK. Ted at First Edition Rare Books was extremely prompt in answering my queries and the items were well packaged and delivered within 7 days despite me ordering late on a Friday afternoon. I'd definitely use First Edition Rare Books again. Very pleased international customer.”
“The staff is always so helpful and cheerful and knowledgeable. We love the size of the store and all of its wonderful books to choose from. Thanks so much, everyone.”

“This coffee shop is also a store, and it's completely charming! Featuring books and local art, crafts, clothing, foods, it's super fun to explore. The atmosphere is cheerful and bright, with quiet mystery as you find the back rooms. Loved the collage workshop. I'll definitely be back.”
“This is one of my favorite locations in the Cincinnati area. They always have a great variety of misc items. I typically look for unique collectibles and the occasional book or 2. Staff is always helpful and friendly. And the location is simply amazing. When you're done shopping you can just grab a quick bite from any of the restaurants within walking distance.”
“I got 2 books from this store in great condition for under 18 dollars. One was a leather hard cover, beautiful book. The other was also hardcover. Would definitely visit regularly.”
“Rented the oratory and lawn for a private event. The facility was absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect location for such an important gathering. However, the exceptional kindness of the women who run the place was so very appreciated. Elizabeth in particular was a refreshing, calm voice during a hectic time. I would absolutely encourage anyone to consider Grailville as the location for their next celebration.”
“Great Xavier swag and merchandise. My high school senior daughter wanted to buy everything because it wad all so cute. Prices are high like any other bookstore. Walked out with a cutoff sweatshirt to wear to the Xavier basketball game”
“It was great going back to the bookstore and getting some swag. I graduated in 1990 and promptly left Cincinnati. Just moved back after 30 years away. It was amazing being back on campus. The bookstore is very large, clean and lots of stuff. Purchase a new hat, car decal and some stickers.”
