“Needed multiple screens done for an section8 inspection I had them use an existing screen to make them but it had a bend in it that made the measure come out wrong. I took them back and Alex helped me get them done asap. They were recommend by a friend and I see why”
“I live just down the road and came to my car to go to work and had a flat tire. They quickly pointed me to a patch kit and air compressor and I was out the door. Great price on everything. “I was at my witts end with a 39 year old American Standard faucet. It had been leaking for many, many months so I contacted American Standard. They referred me to Noel’s Plumbing. My faucet would not have been able to be replaced without removing the whole tub. They immediately contacted me and told me what to do. They stayed with me the whole time till I found the problem although they didn’t get a sale out of me they did fix my problem no more leaky faucet, I have them in my contacts now and will use them anytime I have a plumbing problem. Thank you Noels Plumbing for the best service I’ve ever had!!”

“Amazing customer service! I started to buy my mower at Lowe’s, but went to Ace instead because the staff seems friendly whenever I’ve shopped there for smaller purchases. Ended up buying my Ego mower there, and found out the battery wasn’t able to handle my yard on a single charge. I emailed the local store and asked if I could exchange/upgrade to the newer model with a bigger battery. Tim, the owner, was super helpful and he and Bill the manager let me swap them out with no hassles and were super friendly along the way. If you’ve ever returned anything to Lowe’s or Home Depot, you’ll know a friendly return experience is something you don’t expect. Plan to shop at Ace more often.”
“I recently visited Harbor Freight for the first time to pick up a heat gun for some waxed leather projects I’m starting. Although I didn’t ask for help, I found myself a bit lost amidst their vast selection. It wasn’t easy to find what I needed right away, but I must admit, the variety of tools and gadgets caught my eye and I ended up browsing through all the cool stuff.The store was neatly organized which made my inadvertent detour quite enjoyable. I’m also interested in leatherworking tools, and while I didn’t find them on this trip, I suspect they might still carry them. I plan to check online and return when I have more time to explore thoroughly.This being only my second time in a Harbor Freight, and my first at this location, it was a little overwhelming but definitely a cool experience. I look forward to coming back to purchase the items I need and maybe discover more tools for my new hobby. The store has a lot to offer, and I’m excited to dive deeper on my next visit.”

They had what I needed & they went to get it for me . They asked if there was anything else they could help me with . I told them that I have some projects in the works & that I would be back . “Burkhardt pro hardware is my go-to hardware store. Whenever I need anything for my shop or business I go to Burkhardt pro hardware.The business is under new ownership and they've lowered some of their prices which were already low to begin with! I always like to support local businesses as opposed to the big box hardware companies.Their location on Vine Street is very convenient with easy parking in the rear and right in front. They have a very wide selection of new and old hardware items, some that can't be found anywhere else.Do yourself a favor and visit Burkhardt pro hardware. You'll save time and money and you'll be glad that you did!”
“Took almost 10 minutes to park. Piles of mulch covering most of the parking. Helpful people but didn't have any 12 volt backup sump unless you bought a whole backup system.”

“I went in to buy a lockbox. I was very surprised to see how large of a selection they had. I was expecting 1-2 items but there were at least 5 in the general size I was looking for.
While looking I was very surprised to see solar panels and other higher end items on the shelves. (Of course in the past I only went looking for cheap tools so maybe that's on me.”

“The newer Rockler store is a really nice modern store. Very helpful staff and they have a great selection. One thing that bugs me is Rockler often offers 20% off one purchased item specials online, but hardly ever in their stores. They use to have that 20% "in store" deal when the store was in it's original location. I miss that.UPDATE 2024 Rockler is back to doing discounts in store including the 20% off from time to time. Thanks!”
“I needed a couple of things that could be had probably at most of the big box stores. I go to those places when I feel the need to have someone not be helpful, someone who thinks that be cause they know where hammers are or for someone to say, "I don't know ". That's not the feeling at McCabe's. Someone actually pleasantly said Good Morning. I was staring fascinated at stuff I have looked at for years, and I am just not in a hurry. And that seems to be fine with the people in the store. I got my stuff, checked out and and was satisfied. I always enjoy a hardware store. I will be back to buy paint or something. Thank you!”

“Do you know what makes this hardware store nice ? the fact that it’s connected to EADS and there’s a coffee shop also on the other side, so in essence, you get the benefit of outside decking, coffee, and hardware. And I’d love to say I was joking but it’s true. What’s nice about this particular spot is that it’s a cure and simple small town hardware shop that doesn’t feel commercial in a sense and that’s what makes it so lovely.”
