Floyd Craft opened Main Street Ace Hardware right here in Bowling Green back in 1987. He’d already been in town since ’76 when he started Ben Franklin’s, which is now just called Ben’s downtown. Sold the Ace store in early 2023 to Dave and Kati Thompson—they kept the name and all the staff out of respect for what he built.”
