“This small grocery store has the old fashioned meat counter and the meat is the best you can buy....better than steaks at a restaurant. Have bought their meat package and will do so again. It's worth the drive if you are in Fairfield, Hocking or Perry County to get fresh meat.”

“I've loved their raspberry and cream hand pies for years. I've been known to drive an hour out of my way just to pick up those hand pies. Good spices and homemade and packaged baking items. They also have other supplies. This visit, the person that picked up the order got donuts as well. Truly fantastic. They aren't sugary cream filled like traditional long John's or custard filled like bavarian: the best description I can give is an thin, soft yeast donut dough filled to the brim with a homemade vanilla pudding. The photo shows only half of one: they are huge.”

“The employees are nice. The store is fairly clean and organized for the most part. The front area of the store (behind the cash registers) seems to always be cluttered with misc things. That also goes for the unused check out lanes too.”
“My favorite Dollar General Store around!! The staff is always helpful and polite and go out of their way to help the customers even if they are busy. Other store Dollar Stores in the area I have gone to would not help and some were down right rude. At least here everyone is treated fair.”
