Initially was a great experience but the customer service is just lacking and that’s a nice way to put it. I don’t mean the employees go out of their way to be rude what I mean is the don’t try to do their job it takes at least 15 minutes every time I’m in the store to get a word out of anyone and forget calling as the individuals you are calling for are there but never answer the phone it’s so frustrating because they are so nice when you finally do get to talk to someone. But unfortunately I have to take my business elsewhere as this store is over an hour away from my house so I need a store that can handle business on the phone or promptly in store.

My wife and I went in to buy guitar strings for our nephew for Christmas. As a non musician I was impressed with the quantity of strings available. Store was busy with last minute Christmas shoppers but there appeared to be employees ready and willing to help. There was a problem with the credit card machine, but the employee was fast to change registers to serve us in checking out.

Went to the store to look at what they had for my son's 16th birthday. He wants an electric guitar and amp. We found a Marshall amp on the floor priced as $50 used. Thought great deal. Took it to the counter, waited in line for our turn and the cashier couldn't ring it up. Manager came over and I heard the conversation they were having but NO ONE chose to talk to us about what was going on. Manager then came back after taking the amp away without a word. Told us the amp was priced wrong. He then only showed us the new version of the amp that it should have been. I get mistakes are made but we were told nothing as we sat at your counter for 10 minutes in the dark about what was happening. Then you didn't even offer a discount off of anything else for YOUR BIG mistake. Ended up buying a cord and picks but they will be returned tomorrow. I am no longer willing to work with this store. Unprofessional to say the least!

I've made a number of trips from Dayton down here because they always seem to have the latest Pro Audio gear in from Akai and Roland. Literally the day the products are announced, this location has them ready in stock. Can't beat that. Thanks Guitar Center Cincinnati.

I go here for weekly guitar lessons. Everyone I've interacted with has been friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable when I've asked questions. As a beginner it's almost daunting to see the walls of guitars, but I've learned a bit listening to the sales reps talking with other customers. They also carry drums, & keyboards, with plenty to test out & noodle around on.
