“Can't speak highly enough of Kingdom. There are limited options downtown which makes it an easy choice for the top spot with 24/7 access & any piece of equipment you'd want or need. Additionally, the owner Jeff has impeccable customer service & clearly cares about the members & their experience.”

“I’ve really enjoyed my experience at this CrossFit gym. I joined after spending time at a different CrossFit gym, and I’ve definitely felt more connected here. The community is tight-knit and welcoming, and it’s been easy to get to know people and feel like part of the group. The coaches do a great job focusing on improving overall CrossFit skills while still keeping workouts fun and challenging. I’ve noticed steady progress in my strength and technique, and I appreciate the attention to proper form and development. They also put effort into hosting bonding activities and events, which helps build relationships outside of class. It makes a big difference in creating a supportive environment. Another great aspect is that there are groups of members who participate in all kinds of competitions if that’s something you’re interested in. This includes both HYROX and CrossFit competitions, with opportunities for newer athletes as well as more seasoned competitors. I personally find that really encouraging and motivating. Compared to other CrossFit gyms, I also find the pricing to be reasonable for what you get. I’d definitely recommend this gym to anyone looking to start CrossFit or find a strong, supportive community to train with.”

“The golf training program legit added 20 yards to my drive and eliminated my fussy back issues. Joey, Dawson, Kristen and the team are terrific coaches and know when to push harder. The group classes are a lot of fun with the other golfers, too. Highly recommend if you’re trying to take your game to the next level!”

“I came in for a trial pass expecting to leave after one session, but the environment changed my mind quickly. The trainers correct form respectfully and explain why certain movements matter. Their stretching zone is larger than most gyms nearby. Water pressure in the showers could definitely be stronger though.”

“I have been an SOSer for 5 years now. Which makes it shocking that I’m just now getting around to writing review, especially since I’m such a mega-fan! I first heard about SOS from a few folks when I worked at L Brands in Columbus. They had a few loyal customers with whom I worked. To be honest, I was a little intimidated when I’d see these folks post about their workouts on social media. I had thought about trying it circa 2017, but was too intimidated (my loss!). But in 2019, I ended up with a stress fracture while marathon training. I was able to barely finish my training for the NYC Marathon, which I did successfully complete in November 2019. But at that point, it was evident that I couldn’t just keep running marathons without incorporating strength training into my routine. So in Christmas Week 2019, I started with the 7 class starter pack just to try it out. I even joined Team Tread (their half & full marathon training program)in their Columbus location in January to start training for the Nashville Half in April 2020. Unfortunately for me, my SOS morning routines were abruptly halted in March 2020. But luckily, my team tread registration got me into the “digital studio” which I had no idea what it was at the time. I very quickly uncovered that it’s all the same studio instructors and they have recorded classes with new uploads almost daily as well as a huge library of online classes (which as you can imagine has only grown in the past 5 years). I did what everyone else was doing and immediately ordered as many dumbbells, resistance bands, and other equipment to build up a “home SOS studio” and my equipment has been growing ever since. I moved to Arizona in summer 2021, and have continued to be a dedicated Digital Studio user and advocate. Whenever I come home to Ohio (wither Cbus or Cincy), I get giddy at the thought of going to classes in person and it’s a treat to choose which classes I’ll take and with which instructors. I can honestly say SOS Digital Studio has helped me get in the best shape of my life. I feel like I personally know all of the trainers (I don’t have social media anymore, but when I did, I followed all of them, so again, felt like I kew them personally). When I was in Hawaii for my wedding, SO many people were asking me about my arms and complimenting me. I kept trying to tell them about the DS and how special SOS is. I will always be a dedicated and loyal fan. It’s become such a part of my routine that I’m on Christmas Break now with my husband in Kansas (where he’s from) and I’ve brought my ankle weights, light weights and loop bands just so I can get some classes in. Thank you, Gretchen and team for helping me be the best version of myself every day! Can’t imagine what I’d do without the DS and my SOS training crew! (Only word of advice to newbies- the System DOES work! Don’t skip out on any classes. As you can imagine, being a marathon runner, I favored all of the cardio classes. But it wasn’t until I really started incorporating High & Tight as I prepared for my wedding that I noticed the chiseled arms that I’d always wanted. It’s a well-rounded program that works wonders as long as you incorporate ALL of the classes). Particularly about the Cincy location, I love the rooms they have (1 dedicated to The Course, 1 for Ebb and High & Tight and another for In The Mix and Control). You can tell it was built after the Columbus locations! I also have only been here about 7 times total (since I'm more from the Columbus area). But both instructors Tyler and Emma have remembered me. Emma is for sure my favorite instructor. I was super spoiled this past Thanksgiving and had her for three straight days of classes! Oh how I wished I lived closer!”

“Burn is so much more than a gym - it’s full of members, trainers, and people who genuinely care about you and want you to live your best life! The owner, Krista, is as welcoming as anyone and every single trainer will know your name and call you by it during workouts and the minute you step in the door. It’s really special to see a room full of people wanting to better themselves and cheering each other on! Getting to the gym 5 days a week was tough - but I find myself craving more every week with Burn!”

“Run, don’t walk- RUN! I normally don’t leave reviews but after experiencing my first class I have to. The energy in the room is electric! Everyone welcomes you with a smile! The trainers are motivating and your biggest cheerleader through the entire workout! They have childcare (What?!!!). I’m so happy I discovered this hidden gem and can’t wait to go back!”

“As a novice to training with kettlebells and not much of a gym goer, though active with spinning bike, I spoke with DJ, QCKB owner. He won me over to giving QCKB a try. Now a few months later, the 3 days a week regimen has been phenomenal. As a relatively fit 72 year old I am surprised at the increase in flexibility and muscle tone. The physical and cognitive aspects to training have been great to experience. There is no drill sergeant aspect in the trainers. A serious yet lay back approach absolutely tailored to the individual. Leah, my trainer, challenges yet pays attention to my limits. She is a huge factor to my giving five stars. Highly recommend.”

“Coach Alex welcomes everyone with an open mind and embraces their uniqueness. He encourages each person to be the best version of themselves. Alex motivates each fencer to possess a growth-mindset and his lesson curriculum supports their evolution in the sport. Its clear that he is both knowledgeable and passionate about fencing and the surrounding community. We decided to bring our 5 year old to the club to explore fencing at the beginning of 2021. We tried a variety of other sports and none of them sparked his interest like fencing! In less than a year he demonstrated improvements in focus, endurance, strength, confidence and coordination. The best part is that he can progress at his own natural pace with individualized private-lessons and guided group classes.Alex is building a great team and practice space at QCFC. Hope to see you there!”
