About Ten Thousand Villages

Ten Thousand Villages is a fantastic gem of a shop and a great local business with global impact. It is a non-profit with a strong commitment to the global maker-to-market movement and fair trade, creating opportunities for artisans in developing countries. All items are handmade, offering really high quality, unique, and one-of-a-kind gifts. These range from hand quilled cards, alpaca scarves, and jewelry to kitchen items and toddler toys. The experience is inspiring and socially responsible, providing a positive impact on global artisan partners. The staff are helpful, and they also offer fairly priced classes to learn new skills.
