Glidden House is a fantastic and charming boutique hotel situated in a beautiful historic house in the heart of Cleveland’s University Circle, close to museums, a botanical garden, and Case Western Reserve University. The venue is described as enchanting, combining historic elegance with modern amenities, with beautiful gardens and cozy indoor spaces that provide a perfect, romantic backdrop for weddings and events. The staff are consistently praised as fantastic, very kind, incredibly accommodating, professional, and organized, ensuring everything runs smoothly. Guests highlight specific staff members for their wonderful service and great personality. The rooms are very clean and nice, with very comfortable beds, though some note the beds are not large and the pillows could be better. The hotel maintains the appearance of its 1910 origins. The breakfast receives mixed reviews; some find the breakfast bar great, well-stocked with options like bagels, waffles, yogurt, and oatmeal, while others feel it is just ok, nothing special, and could be modernized or improved. The bar service is a point of criticism, with drinks described as poorly made and prices considered outrageous, much higher than listed, which was disappointing and unacceptable to some. Despite this, the hotel is considered a wonderful stay and an excellent, unique choice for lodging and wedding celebrations.
Was less than 20 dollars difference from one of the big name hotels, the breakfast alone was worth more than that, and it was absolutely stunning in beauty and history

Excellent hotel, very close to art meusem, Natural History meusem and botanical gardens. Staff were nice and breakfast buffet was also excellent.

Wonderful historic hotel, specifically around Christmas. Beautiful rooms and great breakfast. Would stay there again anytime.
