I love Menards in general and wish there was one closer. On this visit, Jasmine helped with getting a gas dryer at a moments notice, answered questions about the product, helped us find all the accessories and had the dryer waiting at the counter for us!!
It made a stressful day so much better, and she did it all with an incredibly gracious attitude and a smile!!”
“So, I used to dread shopping at the Steelyard Commons Home Depot, because you could never find help or associates would see you coming, like you had a question, and make a beeline the other way. But I must say, the last couple times I've been there, I've been lucky enough to encounter Greg. Greg is so helpful, and you can tell that he really doesn't mind, and in fact wants to help you. If he doesn't have the answer, he'll stick with you until he gets one. Home Depot needs more associates, with great attitudes like Greg!”

“Carl and his sales associate Tony are knowledgeable and always willing to guide you in the right direction when you have a question. "Mr Bob Knob" I find it suspicious that you say that they wanted to charge you a restocking fee. I've been a customer for decades and have never had a single issue with a return. I also doubt the story about the employee saying the customer "did not wanting a black man to make any money",because the owner of the store isnt black. They are a bit more pricey than the big box stores but I don't mine paying a little more for the convenience of being able to get what I need right around the corner.”
“I had a mixed experience at the lumber department of this Home Depot.
We purchased plywood and needed it cut. The representative Craig helped us first, and he did an excellent job. He was professional, knowledgeable, and very helpful.
Later, when I got home, I realized the plywood needed to be cut another 1/2 inch, so I returned to the store. This time the representative was Adrian, and unfortunately the experience was very different. He was unprofessional, refused to cut the plywood, and seemed to have an attitude when I politely asked if someone else could help. When I asked about the other employee, he said he was the only one there.
I then spoke with the onsite manager, who listened to the issue and helped resolve the situation. We waited for Craig to return, and he immediately helped us and cut the plywood without any problem.
Craig was extremely professional, experienced, and clearly takes pride in his work. Employees like him make a big difference in customer experience. 5 stars for Craig.
Adrian, on the other hand, may benefit from additional customer service and lumber department training”
“This is for Kim and Cassandra in customer service. I placed an order on website, but couldn’t find/access to add delivery note. So I called the store. Both ladies were very helpful in replying to my questions, and Kim even put a note on my order so it would be delivered properly. Thank you both so much for making my day much easier. It was delivered where I wanted, before I got home. And since 3rd party delivery service, and I have no clue, they also were rockstars. Order was stacked neatly, out of the way, making it much easier for me to move where I needed it to go.”
