“Great little store. I stop by here every chance I get. One suggestion if I may. If you are going to charge extra for cold beer, it needs to be COLD. It is cool at best. Please lower your cooler temps a bit. Definitely not at a desirable drinking temperature. Thank you!!!”
“We recently had our wedding catered through here and couldn’t have had a better experience! They were so nice and helpful every step of the way! They can do pretty much anything you might want! The food was absolutely delicious and we got so many compliments. We made sure to can and freeze what leftovers we had and can’t wait to continue to enjoy it! HIGHLY recommend!!”

“Been around for along time. Good selection, and best place to get meat in town besides greens meat market. Some things are a little pricey but some of the things they have make up for it. Only place that sells mead and a cool selection of beers. Dragons milk stout is a good strong beer! And Modela Negra is great too.”
“Try hiring people with respect for the customers. After a line at the register got so long with no one in sight and only one person attending customers. I went to find someone to help . I simply opened one of the swinging doors in back to find someone . since they seem to hide so well . I was told no one was allowed back there . only a few feet away from the door you go through to go to the restrooms . same back area different door . I believe her name was Sherry . try giving some refresher courses on treatment of customers . She needs it . And you might even try actually having more than one person on register .”

“Around Thanksgiving they sell these amazing turkey roasts. I'd heard about the Turkey roast from a girl I used to work with...she'd worked at a turkey farm yrs ago. Anyway I rarely cook and im known for being inept in the kitchen. But she garrentied I couldn't screw up this Turkey. Its boneless...you chose between all white and white dark combo. It comes in a bag that u cook it in. There are directions for cooking fully frozen and thawed. It's amazing! We call to make sure they have plenty before making the long 90 minute drive out here. It's out in the country...small grocery.”
“It's been a year and 9 months since the opening of this store. It is usually busy when I am there. Friends and neighbors in the area are happy we have a store so close. I am thankful Dollar General's Market Planning Department took time to analyze the information I sent in 2017 and opened a store in the North Star area. Prior to opening this store, the closest Dollar General stores were: St. Henry, Ohio - 9.1 miles away, Ansonia, Ohio - 10.4 miles away, Versailles, Ohio - 11.6 miles away, Celina, Ohio (5696 Us Rte 127) - 10.2 miles away, and Fort Recovery, Ohio - 14.3 miles away from current location. “This is a typical Walmart. Not a bad store, and fairly clean for the amount of traffic that it sees. Definitely experienced way worse stores. Walmart Associates aren't overly friendly, as many have ear buds in and aren't terribly aware of their surroundings. Sadly, the largest employee seems to be the customer as there are more self checkout kiosks than the traditional check out lanes.”

“This is probably the best DG in our area and you can tell they try to keep up with it. I have had nothing but good experiences in this store with staff. Always friendly and helpful. Yea, it's a mess in there at times but I have also witnessed some of y'all's kids in there tearing up the place. DGs everywhere are understaffed and overworked. It's not the staffs fault corporate sends them way too much stuff for such a tiny store.”
