The Olentangy Motor Inn is a friendly and accommodating place. The rooms are comfortable and were renovated in 2023. They are very clean, with a particularly impressive shower offering adjustable, high water pressure and plenty of hot water. The location is quiet, safe, and convenient, a short drive from the heart of OSU and near all kinds of places from bars to stores. The staff is excellent, very responsive, and friendly. Management is attentive, checking on guests' experiences. There is a reduced rate for patients of a nearby cancer center. The office is not labeled; guests check in at the attached coffee shop where the clerks are also baristas. A train track runs behind the motel, which some guests can hear during the day, but it is not very loud and does not bother everyone.
