“Unexpected find just driving by. Decided to stop and glad I did. People who own it are friendly. Huge selection of everything. Bought some local honey and a new craft soda I had never seen before. Talked to a lot of people who were in and out. All friendly and many getting ice cream. Driving by? Stop for a few, you'll be glad you did.”
“Love getting local food items here and of course my deli meats and cheese. Staff is super nice. Prepare to wait in deli line HOWEVER you can enjoy a free piece of candy while waiting.”

“Nice store! But, the employees are in backroom hanging out and seem to have a problem when they have to help you because self checkout register isn't corpoating properly. And, to top it off want to get aggravated because stuffs on sale and have digital coupons and want to say it something different.”

“I'm an employee of IGA , have been now since 2016 (aside from a 3 year sabbatical working elsewhere, i was still employed by them) To say that I'm grateful for the Foutty family would be an understatement. Its hard as a mother to find a company that can work with our schedules, without getting pointed out of the company, or get in trouble for missing work because someone is sick. They don't do that here. They've always worked with me on my schedule, adjust if I have to miss work, if I need something I'm never afraid to ask them for help. If they can help , they will. And employees themselves are like one big family. Maybe a big dysfunctional family but still, when someone is going through something all the employees have done what they could to help the one going through it, no matter how that looks. I really did just come on to let the Fouttys know that even if society and the economy are making them feel a little beaten up right now, they are still good people and are very much appreciated ?”
“Sayre’s marketplace is a beautiful shop in the heart of Smithville. The owner is fabulous and familiar with the items in her store! We’ve found many quaint gifts here for family members. Earlier this week my grandmother wasn’t feeling well so I stopped in for a freshly prepared ham loaf. I also purchased a loaf of fresh baked bread. What a special treat! This store offers a variety of different items from gifts, knickknacks, freshly baked items, and a large selection of freshly packaged meals! Definitely worth the visit!”
“What a cute Lil store. My sister and I stopped in for ice cream. There were two young ladies working who were so happy and friendly, we thought we were in Mayberry.? Ice cream was yummy and cheap. This is a must ! Don't miss out on this place.”

“Discount Drug Mart on route 3 is a terrific store!!! It is always so clean and well stocked!!! I can always find everything I need there. Drug Mart is not just a drug store with a great pharmacy, but they have everything from fresh fruit and veggies to cleaning supplies!!!Even when it was Christmas time, I could find gifts for people on my Christmas list!!! The staff is always very friendly and helpful. Even when Lysol was in short supply, one of the stock boys went and looked in the back room for me. Valerie has been there a long time and is always so pleasant and helpful as a cashier. She is quick and efficient as well. If you need to pick up some quick food or supplies, you should try Discount Drug Matt, you won't be disappointed!!”
“I picked up a couple of things at the Dollar General at 5310 Cleveland Rd., Wooster, Ohio, the morning of 14 Feb., 2024. I paid for my items with a debit card, which I left in the machine. The checkout lady, Lisa, tall with bluish hair, ran out into the parking lot and returned it to me. Her attentiveness and concern for a customer saved me a nightmare. I thank Dollar General for employing people of high character like this lady.”

“Buehlers is my favorite grocery store. They have excellent clearance sections and they sell brands that are more obscure. For example they sell Walden farms and Arctic zero! They're my favorite!”
“I’ve never really had any major issues with this location, aside from one time when a software glitch charged me but wouldn’t let me take my groceries. Thankfully, I live nearby and was able to return once it was resolved. This all after going in about 4-5 times a week for the last 5 years.
A lot of the negative reviews seem to blame the employees for things that are really the responsibility of Dollar General as a company—like understaffing or the store’s condition, wrong prices all over the shelves. (Still something to keep an eye on with the current lawsuit going on with Ohio vs DG) They send these employees more product than the store can realistically handle, and there’s only so much space. Honestly, there are times I walk in and just feel bad for the staff. It’s clear they’re doing the best they can with the resources they’re given.
There was a former manager who wasn’t the friendliest (I always tried to be polite, but they just seemed fed up with the working conditions). That said, things seem to be heading in a better direction now. The store appears to be undergoing a remodel, and the current employees are friendly and doing a great job. It’s nice to see some positive changes happening.”
“My local DDM location at Wooster Pike is awesome. I hope DDM NEVER goes to self-checkouts. Personal service makes shopping a pleasurable experience. DDM's online login and account system needs drastic server upgrade. It is slow as molasses.”

“they don't even have stuff all over the place and if you go to Doylestown DG, it's the worst, they got stuff everywhere and this one is so much better, and they even got stuffed and stocked up and it's not dirty”
“Like all DG stores, this one used to be a bit sloppy. I've noticed it has been so much nicer and brighter, and they've been doing a great job in getting stock put away. Nice, eye-catching displays here and there and expanded decor and craft areas too. DG stores have been in the news along with Family Dollar stores for charging more for items than the shelf price, so keep an eye on that.”

“They have the tastiest sandwiches. They are made to order and have plenty of items on them. I have encountered quite a few farm, construction and office workers buying their lunches. They have a deli counter, hard pack ice cream and hand made hot and cold drinks.
*There shelves contained a good variety of food items. They also have a good selection of candies and cookies. The refrigerator and freezer units always have the usual items but also some that will make a quick supper/dinner.
**Gasser's Marketplace is definite place to check out!!!”
