The Trotwood, Ohio Home Depot location has received mixed reviews from customers. While some have had good experiences with friendly and helpful staff, others have been disappointed by the store's poor organization and maintenance, especially in the garden center. Customers report that the garden center is a mess, with birds allowed to roost inside and plants that are not well-maintained, often dry or dead. One experienced gardener found many of the plants to be in poor condition. Employees also seemed uninformed, with one admitting they did not know how to answer a customer's question about a specific plant. The main store has also faced issues, with customers struggling to find online orders for curbside pickup. One reviewer had a frustrating experience trying to make a return, as the manager was preoccupied grilling food instead of assisting at the returns desk. In contrast, the Piqua, Ohio Home Depot location was described as clean, organized, and with more helpful staff. Overall, the Trotwood store seems to struggle with maintaining standards of cleanliness, organization, and customer service, leading some customers to opt for the better experience at other nearby locations.
Very helpful staff. I was working on a small project and the team helped me cut some PVC down to smaller sizes so I can fit in my personal vehicle.

Even in these most difficult of times it's great to know that Home Depot has the tools and supplies that you need to get the job done. Great service, friendly people, nice shopping experience.
