I am legally blind, so I am able to walk up to this location which I have done quite frequently and every time that I have gone there I walk around and around and around the store trying to find things without anybody asking me if I need any help in fact, it’s quite the opposite one girl was hiding all the way in the back of the store what she was doing I have no idea, but somebody who said they didn’t work at the store did go and ask her to help me. I told her that I needed Appropriate treats for my new puppy and then she quickly said so you want something for your cat and I said no my dog a puppy and then she said with a smart attitude well, you’re in the cat section.! I was in the cat section because I had walked all over the store, looking for somebody to help me and she happen to be at the very back in one of the aisles. On one of my other visits, I did have a man who was extremely friendly at the checkout. I have tried to support my local retail stores, but from now on, I will be ordering online from chewy or Amazon. I have already spent $400 between the two online venues.

My fiancé took her there and they were absolutely amazing They gave him extra shampoo for her sensitive skin offered to help and trim her nails for her, which is usually a job but she did absolutely perfect and the staff and everybody that works there is just so nice and helpful and kind. And the prices are reasonable.

1677 Glenwood Way, DaytonOMG! I don’t even know where to begin. Kaylee was sent from heaven to me. For starters, I loved the reminder texts they sent. It was very helpful. The communication from the staff was not too much but enough to help me every step of the way from the booking process, explaining everything to expect in the appointment, to the professional and super friendly behavior, the exceptional service, and most important the way they listened to my concerns and made me feel comfortable enough to leave my baby in their care. My dog was previously mistreated at a prior, corporate groomer and I was concerned. I explained this to Kaylee and she had the kindest expressions and calmly assured me of their process. Plus the past two to three groomings from that groomer left things undone - including cleaning his beard. When I dropped him off, Kaylee got on his level and covered him with care and he didn’t throw too much of a fit. When I picked him up, I was astounded. He was the cleanest I had ever seen, he was happy, and adorable. Kaylee took pics of him I front of a backdrop that was adorable. They don’t put the dogs in crates and they are great about giving you a notice to pick up. I just can’t give enough compliments or recommendations for this place. I am so grateful I found this groomer and wish I had found them earlier. Jasper was in great spirits afterward and very playful. He had a great time and made a new friend. Best grooming by service by far! Oh and my favorite? Kaylee did a blow out on his tail. It is so freaking cute. I absolutely love her!

My anxious heeler desperately needed a bath before ACL surgery and the tub at home wasn’t an option in his current condition. He refused the steps but the employee was so kind and patient and lifted him in and out of the tub (and he’s a chubby boy!). Their wash system was fast and easy, and the raised tub saved me from hours of back pain. I am so grateful for the help of the employee and we will definitely come back after he’s healed from surgery.

Our 1.5 year old rescue (Great Pyr / Collie mix), Tuck, had a rough start in life (chained to a porch) and was both unconfident and reactive when we got him. Seeing another dog, person, or even a trash can from a distance would set him off, and it was hard to calm him down.
Chuck worked with Tuck and with us over several weeks, and the transformation has been incredible. His training style is calm, kind, and focused on play and internal motivation. This helped with obedience, off leash walking, and getting Tuck comfortable in social settings. Training the owners is as equally important as training the dog, and Chuck gave us the tools and tips necessary to be at our best for our dog.
Now we can take Tuck on calm walks downtown, pass people and dogs without issues, and even bring him into shops and our local coffee spot. We also trust him off leash on our farm and around our cattle, which felt impossible before. He’s gained a ton of confidence and is clearly now very comfortable in his new life. While training a dog is never finished, we now have a great foundation with Tuck to keep learning and working.
We also worked with DDW previously several years ago with our other rescue Pyr, Luna, and had an equally great experience with Erin.
We hope to train every dog we have with Chuck and Erin, and will always recommend them to other dog owners. We are so grateful for Chuck and Erin at DDW. Having a well-trained dog is worth the work!

Unfortunately, my daughter competes in a sport that requires frequent out of town travel. After a bad experience traveling with our dog, it was clear we needed to board her. I found Arlissa’s business through a simple google search, contacted her through text, and heard back from her that same day. We chatted on the phone and she patiently listened to all of my fears and concerns about boarding my dog. She invited me to drop my dog of for a trial, which reassured us both that my dog was a good fit for boarding. This was such a professional gesture to me! Arlissa sent me updates and photos while we were out of town. I can’t put into words how much peace of mind she has given me, as my dog was so calm and relaxed in her care. I would recommend this business a million times over!

We agreed to a Meet and Greet which is where we determine if we can accept a job and if the pets and us are compatible. After discovering that Mr Bishop lived out of our service range we called and let him know and cancelled the Meet and Greet the next day. We put the pets first so taking on jobs too far away takes time away from us giving all the pets the attention they need.

And the quiche!!!! Absolutely incredible. I picked up a BLT quiche and it was impeccable. So delicious.
If you’re passing through town, this is 100% worth the visit. If you’re local, this needs to become a new regular spot for you!

We still talk about those croissants weeks later, and we're very excited to come back.
