987 S Main St, CentervilleUpdate: Corporate stood by their position of screwing us out of points. They acknowledged that we earned them but policy is designed to hose people over that trust them. HOWEVER:The store in Centerville is digging into their own pockets to give us a credit . I admire them honoring their commitment to customer loyalty. My score represents my review of this individual store. Corporate thieves get 0 stars.

Wash Your Dog
Cross Point Center, 199 E Alex Bell Rd suite 402, CentervilleThis place was fun. Took my chihuahua to get a nice bath. We got to pick from different fragrances of shampoo. We bathed him and tried to blow dry him... he was scared of the dyer so I just towel dried him. Once he was done we looked to see what was in the shop. We bought him a cute komona shirt. They also have shampoo and conditioner you can buy and take home. The bath was reasonably priced. The shirt we bought was around $13. I think the shampoo was for sale was like $20 but they did have different types and fragrances. I and my dog Brutus approves this place!

Scratching Post Cat Hospital & Retreat
133 W Franklin St, CentervilleI started with Dr Andrew when he first opened his business! My cat Spanky was his ninth client, and when she turned nineteen and I finally had to put her to rest, Dr Andrew, the kind and loving vet and man that he is, cried right along with me, in addition to sending me a lovely letter about my sweet girl after her passing. You won’t find many vets that have the care and concern about your pet, and for you that Dr Andrew and his staff have!I’d never go anywhere else!!! Five stars ⭐️

Care Center Dayton
6421 Clyo Rd, CentervilleMy husband and I were traveling from New York to Dayton, OH back in November 2023 with our 11-year-old mini aussie, Cassie. About two hours into our 10-hour drive, she started vomiting, was very lethargic, and could no longer walk. We immediately registered her online at Dayton Care Center to be seen around our estimated arrival time. When we arrived about 8 hours later, they were ready for us. The women at the front desk looked at her gums and told us that because her gums were pale, they suspected internal bleeding. They immediately took her to the back room and started working on her. I wish I could remember the woman's name at the front desk - she had very short buzz cut hair and kept us updated while we sat in the waiting room. She was very kind, but also made sure we understood the seriousness of the situation, asking us if we wanted to sign a DNR for our dog. After maybe 30 minutes in the waiting room, we were bought into a private room to meet with Dr. Colvin about the bloodwork results and possible diagnosis. It turned out our sweet girl had hemolytic anemia; they said she'd be there for a few days so they could do blood transfusions and try to determine the cause of the anemia (cancer, tick related, etc.). They let us see her again before we left than night and gave us as much time as we wanted. The following morning, I called to check in on her. The nurse that took my call was very kind and said Cassie was resting peacefully while in line to get an abdominal ultrasound. About ten minutes later, Dr. Ernst called and told me that they gave Cassie a light sedative prior to the ultrasound and that her heart stopped. He gave me time to grieve and called back a few minutes later to speak with my husband about next steps. We were only in town for 4 days, but they made sure to have her cremated before we had to leave back to New York.In the short 16 hours that Cassie was in their care, I felt that she was always in good hands. They did everything they could to save her, even though it ultimately didn't work out. I will forever be grateful for the kindness that they showed us. After we got back home, we even received a card from the Dayton Care Center, signed by the staff that worked on Cassie. It was so very sweet and appreciated.

Thank you to John Loose for having us for David’s celebration of life tonight, your staff welcomed us and allowed us to take over a lot of the space. David would have loved knowing it was at his clients business. This is such a relaxed space for any event. I have been prior and enjoyed the food and drinks. Great place to have lunch or dinner and to have an event there. Thank you again for your kindness and I know David would always support his clients. We are also sorry for the loss that you had endured as well.
