“Nice little private hotel quaint and affordable. Right beside the fairgrounds. Clean room and relaxing shower. This is our third time staying here and we enjoyed it.”

“We stayed for 1 day and on a Monday, so I don't know how helpful I'll be. That said, we enjoyed our stay. It's a very pleasant hotel, clean, large rooms and a wonderful staff. The indoor pool was warm with abundant towels and we had the place to ourselves. We'd stay again.”

“Very nice location that has been through the remodel phase the chain is going through.

You can tell it is an older location, but even then, they did good revamping it.

The elevator is amazing. I know it is just a few floors, but some of these old sites get the remodel and the elevator is still running on gear made in the Eisenhower administration. My travel companion and I both commented how quick the elevator came when we hit the button. It is the little things like that that help a last minute emergency business trip feel less annoying.

The staff at this location is also above par. Not sure if luck, training, or just the area they pull from, but the folks here were the highlight of the trip. Extremely nice employees from check in to check out. Travelling this route in the future, this location will be on the short list due to that fact alone.

Rooms: All in all, ten USB ports in the room along with outlets. I did not get to use them all, but it is nice to know the rooms are outfitted for multiple devices so I do not have to bring as many brick chargers when doing shows and needing to charge multiple battery packs and POS units.

Window blinds were excellent for keeping out sun and streetlights for those needing "The Dark".

While it has been remodeled, they kept the carpet flooring. I prefer the had floors these days, but the carpet was fine. Clean as it could be.

Bathroom was well stocked, but the tube had drainage issues. it did drain, but much slower than I would of liked. Free foot bath basically.

Safety: Felt very safe arriving late at night. Parking was a little more open than the busier times of the week. Even if it was crowded, plenty of space up front and near the front on the sides.

Food and drinks: Always a wide selection for breakfast. This location has the new remodeled layout for the free breakfast. So you now get the sticky buns, the pancake makers, the multiple egg and meat options. If you are staying at an Express & Suites, always try to make sure they have the new layout.

The nice lady working the breakfast room was very attentive and was keeping things stocked as needed. I know my way around the Express breakfast offerings, but the proactive approach by staff is always appreciated.

Noteworthy details: Easy to find, right off the highway.

Do be CAREFUL of the driveway into the location!

This location has a very flat street with a really steep grade into the parking area. The transition is really radical.

TRAILERS/CAMPERS: you will want to exercise caution (think crossing a reverse railroad grade). Not sure if there is another entrance to alleviate that issue. There was at least one large Class C in there that did not seem to have an issue when I talked with the driver.”
