I recently had concerns about my bank account, and everyone was efficient, friendly, and helpful in getting everything sorted out. From the call center service, to the bank teller who checked me in when the kiosk glitched (didn't catch her name, so sorry!), and to Haley (the financial coach)--everyone did an excellent job! Specifically, Haley was quick to address the issues with my account, and helped with additional inquiries I had! While I have a few more things to do before the entire thing is resolved, I trust and know that WPCU will make it quick and simple.

“This review is an amended post from March 2026 regarding a fraud case that has now been removed from the WPCU Google reviews. The fraud case involved several financial accounts from four different financial institutions. There were issues with WPCU resolving money that was fraudulently removed from my account totaling over $2,000. Eventually, the case was resolved.
On 4/2/2026 I received a phone call from a member (Carey) of the WPCU fraud department. Carey did a complete review of all the information and the WPCU fraud team did return all money to my account. We discussed several issues concerning security and the handling of my fraud claim. Carey did an excellent job, and I want to thank her for review, knowledge, and great customer service. Due to Carey’s work and understanding, that is why I am doing a revised review.”

On 5/21/2025, I was the victim of a scam. The amount taken was more than my pension check--devastating and truly frightening. In response, I shredded my Wright-Patt debit card, credit card, and checks for safety.
A few days after I received a new debit card, I received a second debit card with a new number and called the Help Center to make sense of it all. That's when Jonathan answered. He was calm, knowledgeable, and exactly the person I needed.
Jonathan explained that my refunded money had been sent to the now-closed, compromised account--but he immediately transferred the funds into my new account. He also confirmed that the second debit card should be shredded and went ahead and ordered me a new credit card.
Jonathan even suggested I buy an RFID wallet or sleeves for extra protection. I ordered them from Amazon and had them the next day.
Jonathan is THE BEST!

“This bank has literally by proxy stolen over 1,000 dollars from me easily since I have been out of town. Knowing this, I tried to call today as a fraudulant merchant keeps taking out 15 dollars on the 19th from my account. They said they would/could not stop this without issuing me a whole new card. UUUMMMM, NO! They can and they will, its called a stop payment, as the lady stated and then continued to transfer me to a billion different people that I didn't feel like staying on hold for. This institution forgets who they work for, and its me, not the merchant. Though, they have screwed around with so much of my time that I'm altogether unaware of why I'm not on payroll. They clearly do not know that since they are not backed under the FDIC, or NCUA (To an extent), they have to be reported to the Ohio Commisioners, and they will be. I left them this one final chance to give me more to report, or to correct their actions, and they did not choose, what I would consider, to be the wiser of the paths. I made sure to inform the women of this and to be careful what she told me was true because her career could very seriously be on the line as I was already reporting them, and recording this. After 20 minutes on hold, I can only assume that she was not having ANY intention of picking back up.”
