Entered the bank, no greeting received. The teller stands were vacant, and there were no instructions on where to stand for assistance; a fellow customer had to guide me. This experience was disappointing, and I won’t be returning to this bank. Considering exploring alternatives due to this unfortunate encounter

I have been a customer for several years. I had my net to bank hacked and changed thru my work from US Bank to another bank. Once my employer and I were able to sort this out I had a paper check mailed to me. I opened a new additional account to deposit my payroll check in just in case the hackers had gotten my bank information too. I opened it on a Saturday 12/10 and received a welcome call that Wednesday. I asked the lady what the hold time would be on this account since I was depositing a paper check. She said $250 would be available immediately and the rest the next day. When I received my paper check and deposited through the ATM (I was working and it was before the bank was open) a hold was placed on the check for it being a new account even though I’m not a new customer and used my atm card to my other account to deposit it, and it shows up with my other account plus I had just spoke to the assistant branch manager on my welcome call and asked this specifically. This tied up my entire check, not even the $250 was released like she had said. My original pay day was 12/9. My check finally arrived in paper form 12/16 and that is when I deposited it. After being short due to the hackers I was relieved to get my check and finally be able to pay bills buy groceries and Christmas gifts. When I called about the negative balance i was told about the hold thru the 1-800 number. I was told the funds would not be available to me until the 12/28. After a stressful day of calling the 1-800 number twice, speaking to the fraud department twice and my home branch who gave me the bad information I found out the fraud department does not remove new account holds only the branch manager can do that. When he finally called me back at the end of the day apparently he had just learned that too which did not make me feel any better. He asked me if I happened to know the number of the person I spoke to at the fraud department, which I felt less at ease about. He admitted it was his assistant manager that called me on Wednesday and gave me the bad information but said he would have told me the same thing because he couldn’t see why my account would be on hold. He is in the process of trying to remove the hold. Since he didn’t know he was the one to do these he couldn’t give me any information on turn around time.Had they just said there was a chance a hold would be put on and it would be better to cash it in person I would have gladly waited until my day off Sunday and found an open branch or deposited in my old account and took my chances. I only deposited it in my new account with the assurance of the branch that it would clear the next day. Now it’s 12/17 and I am sitting at home after work instead of grocery shopping or Christmas shopping because I can’t access any of my payroll check. It’s a federal government payroll check which makes this ridiculous hold even more frustrating.

The ATM at this location never has cash. And every time I try to deposit cash that option isn’t available. Considering changing banks.

It's been a hassle lately, closing my account soon as I get one elsewhere. Used to get good service but lately it seems things have changed and they do less for you,

I have been going to this Branch all the way back since it was citizens federal in the mid-90s. Perla and Linda specifically, have been there probably just as long. Perla has gotten in the way with barely-there service to me specifically. She comes across to me as a passive aggressive person. No eye contact, no smiling, no warmth, is a very common service that I get from her. But I do see these traits given to other customers. Additionally I have witnessed several times Perla performing a professional task that she is fully aware expends corporate funds unnecessarily. Linda however was very warm and very friendly up until about several years ago when I can only assume that Perla started rubbing off on her. Neither have bothered to ask or request any kind of purpose for their behavior that is quite frankly borders on humiliation. And we all know that rape is not about sex it's about it's about gaining power over their victim through humiliation. There are times that I know I'm not getting extra service or at least standard Service as I walk out of that place and I've tried to hold my tongue to give them a chance to speak out and fix their problems with me, but with any victimizer they don't bother with that kind of compassion. It's not likely they're going to change as expected, but I'd like to know if there's anybody else out there who has had barely there service from the tellers behind the counter. After two-ish decades, they've given me cause for this review. No matter which side of the counter I am on, I treat even the nasty people with professional courtesy and try to make (or wait for) them smile. On the bright side there is practically a no-wait line as the tellers - all of them - process people very quickly and there are no complaints there. And no complaints about US Bank in general.

U.S Bank has taken over 700.00 dollars out of my account for a negative second account that I opted out it being able to go negative. I work the hours that the bank is open and could not get in to settle it so they just took all of my bill money put it in the negative account that should have never been able to go negative in the first place and then closed it. Account was only negative 42. dollars and change so they let it keep adding up and profited over 600.00 dollars. This is why you don't do business with a non credit union bank.
