“I had the pleasure of hearing from Valerie, founder and owner of Yellowcake Shop Clothing Company, at a professional development session. Initially, I was hesitant to attend a session on dressing for success, as these conversations can sometimes be rooted in outdated ideas and stereotypes. However, Valerie’s presentation was refreshingly authentic and thought-provoking. She challenged conventional fashion norms and encouraged embracing personal style as a powerful tool to break down barriers and redefine what “dressing for success” means. Valerie also shared actionable tips for discovering a style that feels genuine and suits your work environment. Her passion and commitment were evident both in her presentation and her collection. I ended up purchasing the crossbody harness, which is a unique piece unlike anything I’ve seen elsewhere. I’m thrilled to support a sustainable, US-made brand that champions marginalized communities. With complimentary repairs offered, I’m know this piece will become an instant staple in my wardrobe and will last me a lifetime.”

“Big and tall have a hard time finding comfy clothes. I crossed the river to go shopping here. Men's selection is very nice. Material is nice the fits are comfortable. The clothing is a bit more pricey. But like Terry Prachetts Guards series points out sometimes its cheaper in the longrun to bite down and get the more expensive item instead of replacing the cheaper item each year.
Women selection wasn't the prints or colors I'm interested in. Very Farmer wife chique and pastel.”

“SMALL MOVEMENTS, BIG RESULTS!!I attended this studio for the first time and I got a free class thanks to the ClassPass App. I visited on a weekday evening in March 2023 (March 8th). Everyone was very welcoming at the front desk. I signed a waiver before class and got a pair of grip socks which the studio allowed me to borrow for free (I returned the socks back after class). BARRE CLASS -- The instructor Roni was awesome! She provided great cues/directions for all the different lifts and moves. I loved the addition of small weights, a ball, and a resistance band. I most likely won't be back for a barre class just because this type of workout isn't for me. I prefer high intensity training classes, sprints, and lifting weights. “Best place to look for a dress!!! Went here to look for a prom dress with my bestie and the girls were soooo helpful and friendly. Bought my dress that day! Such beautiful and different dresses here and prices are reasonable for such an amazing dress you’re getting. The girls even stayed open a few minutes later for us. Love this place! Gordon was very pleasant and verified the item I tried to order was still in stock. I gave my payment information and he said they’d be on the way. That was Friday. “Our favorite local Cleveland gear shop. Local owner, family run. Does screen printing with some fun and unique designs with a variety of clothing and styles. The tees are super soft, and the sweatshirts had a bunch of different styles and fits. We stopped at other shops and came back to this one. We also didn't have room in our bags, so they have free shipping over a very low threshold (I think $10). Highly recommend!”

She made the entire process so enjoyable and stress-free that I found myself actually looking forward to each decision. The prices are a tad higher than I like but I've always liked Athleta products a lot and they last a while. I also appreciate the fact that they usually have tall sizes in leggings. I struggle to find that at Lululemon unless it's online.”
