“It's your typical kroger gas station. Better prices than most gas stations, usually. I wish they had milk out there, so if I need a gallon I don't have to go in the store. I can just grab a gallon while pumping and be on my way”

“Old fashioned neighborhood station. Prices are competitive. Real non-ethanol gas is available here. Downside is lot doesn't have much room for customers waiting to get to pumps. One of the only two bays has 7' height restriction.”
“Very friendly,easy stop and most importantly it's right across from the Kroger store and you can use all Kroger points for your gas. They accept all forms of payment except EBT cards.. over all very pleased”
“We stopped here for gas and the bathrooms. The handicap parking spots were right next to the door. You do have to get a key for the bathrooms.The store and bathrooms were super clean. The staff were really nice.”

“Very nice cashier...my father-in-law is 86 years old and hard of hearing... he was trying to pay for gas and couldn't hear the cashier and was getting frustrated, and the cashier was extremely patient and understanding. She helped him with his order and kept her cool even with a line being to get longer. Shelves and coolers stocked and in order.”

“I was a new shopper in the sheets store on 7th street in Parkersburg WV.
It was my first time using a gift card from there store given to me,by my nurse, in coplin health care.
I had no way of knowing how much was on the card.
As soon as I walked in and started to the counter a young man named Hunter ask me, may I help you mam? With a smile on his face.
I think he could see right through me. I was a little confused about what to do and how to find out the amount on the card.
He said may I see the card?
I handed him the card and just like that he new how much the balance was and ask me is there anything else I can do for you mam, he said.
I replied back oh yes, but I first have to go ask my husband,how much gas, he would like.I told him I would be right back.
He responded and said you take your time mam,and smiled, and I returned the smile back, and said thank you.
It was Nice to see a friendly face, with me being in a new store to me.
I give this young man, and the other workers, in this store that day,a big thumbs up.”
“Convenient has 3 food places all with in a stones throw two of which inside the building and of all variety....coffee Donut an sandwich shoppe, pizza place, an burger an chicken joint across the street plus a hotel up the hill and two across the street, and even a car wash. Parkersburg finest all within a quarter mile.”

“They have gas. As a gas station, they also have a fine assortment of Gas station food and drinks. I would highly recommend the sweet tea, I just like sweet tea. This little shop is also referred to by locals as Powell’s. Powell’s was the previous name of this establishment but they were recently bought out by this other company. Its still gas bro. Very useful and close to my neighborhood. Great for when you completely forget to fill up your tank before school or work”

“I have always loved 7 11. The only issue with this particular store is some of the employees are extremely unfriendly and unpleasant and make you feel like they are either to busy for you or they are annoyed that they have to get off there phone to ring you up. One lady is very paranoid and thinks everyone is shoplifting. And will yell things like " don't think I don't know what your trying to do" and more then once has left me personally standing at the register in the middle of ringing me up to go follow other customers around the store to make sure they wasn't stealing all the while leaving the counter unattended.”

“My Family and I traveled to Myrtle Beach SC for a vacation. 9 hours into our 11 hour drive back home we had to stop for gas. After trying to get gas from 3 other gas stations, finally we found one with the inside of the store being open. As usual we pre pay and pump our gas. As we changed diapers and gathered our bearings for the rest of the ride home, our vehicle died. The starter went bad out of no where and we were stuck with a 6yo, 2yo, and 7mo old at 3am.. Talk about str”
“Once you wade through the hookers, homeless, handicapped, bicyclists, backpackers, and burglars out in the parking lot you will find the inside has plenty of reasonably priced cold beer and some of the friendliest and courteous cashiers in town.”

“A great place to stop for gas, a quick bite and to stretch your legs. The cashier is usually good for a bit of a chat if your driving all night and desperate for some human contact for a change. The bathrooms are clean too, which surprised me considering this is a gas station.”
“In the Parkersburg/Belpre area, this is my favorite Kroger because I can usually find better produce with more available selections than at the other Krogers. Also, I can find many items related to my Whole Foods Plant Based diet, such as plant based meats, cheeses, butter, etc... I love the authentic sushi kiosk in the deli area and the fresh baked bread. People who work there are friendly and helpful. What I do not love is checkout. Usually, there are only one or two cashier-run registers; the rest are self-checkout, and there is usually a long line at all of them. I have a pleasant experience shopping in the store, but checking out is a pain.”

“I always have a pretty pleasant experience at 7-Eleven. Staff is usually very extremely friendly and helpful. I love the pie pizza deal, big gulps. Stores usually very clean. Most the time they lift my mood if I'm having a bad day. Great job to the 7-Eleven in Vienna West Virginia! An awesome work to the staff at the 7-Eleven on 13th and Avery in Parkersburg West Virginia!”

“I like to stop in for fountain beverages at Speedway. $1 for Big Gulps. Always good tasting.
It's a popular store right on the corner of 7th Street and Liberty. Often there's a line at both registers. So plan on a few extra minutes, especially during rush hour, to get your gas, snacks and drinks. Convenient to get in and out of the gas station, but limited parking. It's a good stop.”

“I think the deli is the main attraction at Hickory Grove. They have a menu with a wide selection for you to choose from. They have prepared meals , so if you're in a hurry ..you can order ahead of time as well. They also deliver if you give them notice . They deliver for seniors and disabled people. This place has almost everything that you might need , but some things are pricy compared to stores that are closer in town . I go there for fried chicken , it is yummy . and they have gas , I almost forgot about that ! Thumbs up !”
