“I came here to get a dress for an elopement and it was a breath of fresh air compared to the other shops I went to. Most of them required appointments even just to browse; at the time I went here this shop was not appointment-only, which I greatly appreciated as all the available appointment slots were filled. I’m a very introverted person and I appreciate being given space, especially since I’m a bit self-conscious about my size in terms of dresses. Beyond being greeted and told where the dressing rooms were, I was ultimately given all the space I needed; the employees were available to help but did not pressure me into buying anything.
The owner of the shop is the sweetest and she was accepting of an unconventional elopement in a time when many people are not; she was nothing but kind. My budget was tight and I originally thought I wouldn’t be able to get a dress over $200, but she let me make a payment plan so that I was able to get an absolutely stunning dress for $500 by making layaway-style payments for a few weeks.
I went to Vow’d and they were very rude and judgmental when I said I wanted a dress around the $500 price range at most; I went to David’s and they barely had anything in that range and were very crowded. Besides that, they barely had anything that would fit me; this shop offers a variety of sizes from 0 to 32 and possibly more.
This shop is a gem and those of us in Central Ohio are very lucky to have such a great resource for affordable dresses. I am so glad I was able to get my dream dress here!”

When we had some alteration questions she offered to call one of their tailors and gave her all of the information for my situation and got us an exact quote while we were there. Sheila was also super accommodating with several of my requests to ensure that I had a beautiful dress that could be worn in the desert and around Vegas. She made sure that everything was perfect before sending me off with the dress, and you can tell how much care went into its design and construction.

“I visited this store with my friend they have beautiful collection of South Asian clothes and prices are also affordable. They had jewelry like earrings, bangles and bracelets. We bought the jewelry and Pakistani Kurtas. The fabric is soft and comfortable too. The jewelry especially rings and bracelets are the best thing to gift your friends on different occasions. The staff is so friendly and helpful.

“Gilded Social Alterations was recommended by a friend. My wedding was planned fairly last minute and Tanya helped to get me scheduled right away. I needed alterations on a BHLDN (Anthro Bridal store) wedding dress + a bustle added. Ohio does not have a BHLDN store, so I was a bit nervous as the stores in states where a BHLDN is located have alteration businesses selected who regularly work with their dresses. I was also concerned about having to bustle the dress on wedding day so Mary Ellen helped me to create a video to send to the individuals who would be assisting me that day. I appreciated the privacy within the studio and how quickly I was able to have the finished product back. It looked amazing! “I am very pleased with this company!! I informed them about the dress I was wanting to purchase (which i was ordering 8 weeks before a wedding) with my measurements. I even asked if I needed extra length. They simply replied with the size and how to dress would measure with flats and heels. Very helpful! Roger was on top of this order constantly updating me after I purchased the dress and even before I made the purchase. They caught my error with the wear date which was EXCEPTIONAL.

The dress arrive right on time and fit perfectly. He even called before shipping the dress to see which shipping method I would prefer so I would receive the dress as soon as I needed it.
