“Nice apartments, good location. They can definitely be noisy but that’s from the location (downtown, train tracks, firehouse nearby) rather than the apartment itself. Maintenance and management was always good.”

“Great living space. I hope your rental is near l the trash disposal or elevator. If not the architect was not considerate to all the tenants. Their is a great pool area but it is a long walk if your rental is on the opposite side. This would detour me from the amenities.”

“I was greeted and taken on a tour right away. The lovely manager—Valerie? —was kind, prepared and answered all my questions. She allowed me to take a few photos to share with my sister and I loved the place. Well kept, beautiful decor, and a great private patio.”

“I actually stayed in the hotel. This hotel is part of the Autograph collection so the style, decor, privacy features, space, simply everything was absolutely gorgeous. You will not be disappointed in this hotel. Luxury is an understatement. The restaurant located inside is called The Keep and they can keep their food because I was not happy.”

“The Commons of Downtown is the outdoor venue for many scheduled concerts - the outdoor home of the Columbus Symphony Orchestra.Surrounded by apartments, hotels, a bank and business high-rise, this once was THEE downtown shopping venue for a 2-Level array of stores called CITY CENTER.During Christmas, the Commons is decorated in festive colors; even giant hanging ornaments, and huge Christmas light bulbs. And, of course, there remains the Carrousel - sheltered until the Springtime. Even Jenni's Splendid Ice Cream is there.Growing in the Exhibit are the number of "Engagement Rings" to stand under, or beside.Even a unique, lighted butterfly to have pictures with the wings spread.Come and see, before it is a memory of 2022 Christmas that was just last week!- Keith CareyPsalm 51”

“I moved in here about 2 months ago and I cannot say enough good things. I will start off by saying I have lived in "luxury apartments" before where you pay your pricey $2,000 a month and get styrofoam walls, the worst fridge known to man, and staff who do not care. This is nothing like that!!! The appliances in the apartment are genuine quality, fridge has a water and ice dispenser. The walls and floors are incredibly solid, I never hear my neighbors ever. The other people who live in the building are polite and well mannered. The maintenance staff is incredible. Any maintenance request I have ever put in has been resolved within 48 hours. My washing machine broke on a Tuesday. Thursday morning they were at my door with an entire new unit to replace it. Mailing systems at all apartments seem to be kind of hectic these days. It seems that when they were built in 2015 they didn't predict people in 2022 would each be getting 3 packages a day. But, I will say the system is very secure. Packages are not left outside. I have never felt like my things would be stolen. The gym is probably the best gym in Columbus. The appliances and machines are awesome, and it is on the 12th floor and an amazing view of the city. The staff is very polite and knowledgeable. They are super helpful and you can ask them anything. The parking deck is pretty much your average parking deck. There are special reserved signs for the complex. I have never ever ever had an issue finding a spot. There are also no line secret sneaky fees. I feel like a lot of the complexes here, you pay you're rent and then they throw on a community fee and a service fee and a have a good day fee and a common area fee and gym fee blah blah blah. Not here. You pay your rent, $14 community fee, and $15 trash fee. That's it. If you choose to have parking, $135 a month which is about what parking costs in downtown Columbus. So I do really like that they don't slap on a bunch of bs fees. I love it here! It is a great building! Before signing a lease I probably viewed about 15-20 complexes in the downtown and short north area. Could not be happier with my choice!”

“My partner and I have lived in a duplex managed by Morgan Kingland for a little over 7 months so I will break down our experience over that time in a pros/cons list. NOTE: This is NOT listed in order of importance.Pros:1. Affordability. Our rent is cheaper than our previous location which is helpful as my partner is working part time while going to school at OSU.2. Location. The apartment is on King Ave and in a walkable neighborhood. I don't have to drive to get groceries (Kroger nearby). There are many restaurants and bars down Grandview and West 5th. We also live close to our workplaces and close enough to OSU for it to be a quick drive/bike ride(those last few aren't applicable to everyone obviously but it makes this a good location for us).3. Management communication/Maintenance. Management is always quick to communicate using their web portal. Maintenance requests are filled usually within 24 hours. They are prompt and usually complete the job on the first go around with minimal disturbance to my partner and I. Additionally, emails or messages sent to management not regarding maintenance requests are answered pretty quickly as well. For example there was a car blocking the driveway they responded to our concerns quickly and sent an email out to all tenants in their nearby apartment buildings about the situation.4. Pet friendly. Most (but not all) apartments nowadays are pet friendly. Morgan Kingland lists on their website what pets are allowed.5. Ability to make space your own: After talking with the person who does the work on the outside of the properties (grass cutting, hedge trimming, picking up litter etc.) he stated that it would be okay to utilize the mulch beds for planting our own flowers/herbs. It's nice to know we have the ability to do this so long as we make sure we communicate with both management and groundskeeping. ALSO I was able to decorate the outside for Halloween and Christmas which again may not be everyone's cup of tea but it really made the place feel more homey.6. Parking. There is a small lot behind the duplex that is shared with the apartment building adjacent to us. Even though there are many tenants in the other building as well we've not had difficulty finding a spot for our vehicle. This location does have most necessities within biking distance so you don't technically need a car but if you do have one parking should be available.7. Washer/dryer hookups. A personal preference one but I don't like using shared facilities/laundromats.Cons: NOTE, most of these can be chalked up to our duplex being a house that is around 100 years old.1. The building is old. This makes it more difficult to heat/cool. The floors are a bit warped in spaces (not structural issue but makes the floor squeak). The pipes almost froze (partially on us) but older buildings are probably more susceptible too.2. Older appliances. This one isn't a big issue for us since as long as the stove heats up our food and the fridge keeps it cool we're all good. The sink did have some leaking issues and even though maintenance responded promptly each time it took a few tries before it was completely fixed.3. Dust. I think whoever cleaned the apartment before we moved in could have done a better job. Some light fixtures had a lot of dust and the vents have a small filter over them to make sure dust isn't getting blown out.4. Communication. A very unique incident but the physical internet cable had to be cut due to garbage collection saying they would not take garbage if it was hanging that low (it hadn't been a problem for months so not sure what that was) It did take management some hours to send this information out after we had initially tried to contact Spectrum about it.5. Lack of public transit in the area. Obviously not MK's fault, just a personal observation.6. Weird wiring. Switch in one bedroom can control lights in the other. One switch for each porch light. Not bad just odd.Overall it's a really good place to live run by responsive and responsible man”

“Maintenance review - Taking a second here to talk about the 100/10 maintenance team. I was having trouble with my heat pump not kicking in and I was fortunate enough to have Kamron Kuehner from the maintenance team pick up the ticket. I have never had, nor have I ever heard of, a maintenance guy who worked as hard as Kamron did to find the problem, work out a solution, and get it working again. We went through multiple theories and fixes, and he was happy to stick with it the entire time. Even when a vendor came out and did not get the problem fixed, Kamron was still adamant about getting everything squared away. Once he was able to find the exact piece that was broken, he did talk me through it, fix everything, and I have finally switched my furnace from “Emergency” to “Heat”. Thank you Kamron for all your help with this! And LC, please make note of what an excellent job he did!”

“I am very glad that the large neon "WONDER BREAD" sign west of N. Fourth St. and north of I-670 is still there in spite of the fact that Wonder Bread is no longer manufactured anywhere near there.I am often directing people in the downtown area who are driving me on N. Fourth St. to I-670 west to Rte. 315 north to "turn left at 'WONDER BREAD'."The "I-670 west to Dayton" freeway sign on N. Fourth St. is partially hidden by the I-670 bridge; that left turn would be far more difficult for me to point out to drivers without that large "WONDER BREAD" sign being there.”

“Jeffrey Park is a great place to make friends and be close to the Short North. The parking situation and rent price leaves something to be desired but the amenities (pool, dog park, walking areas, etc) are great. Maintenance is friendly and fast to respond.”

“I LOVE this apartment! I’ve been here for almost 2 years. It’s definitely my favorite apartment of all time. I love the two doors, one is a back door to the fire escape the other has a locked downstairs door where one must buzz to get in. I feel very safe due to it.My neighbors are wonderfully nice, polite and quiet too. Mixed crowd of college students to working professionals. Thankfully the walls are so thick most people can’t hear anything and the reverse is true too.Yes it is very old but that’s it’s charm! My suggestion for most people when living here: buy ceramic heaters off of Amazon for winter. Two is suffice. Get a 3rd one for backup or if you need to be toasty. My electric bill is never over $60 a month. I notice that if your neighbors run their air you won’t have to run yours as often. The only issue outside of the actual apartment are noise and parking.A. Tape your parking pass to your window to avoid towing from shamrock.B. Get city parking passes they’re only $25 a year!!! A Steal compared to most cities.C. Buy at least two noise machines! The bars and their patrons can get LOUD at night, and I mean ANY NIGHT. I run at least one during the week and two-three during the weekend.Otherwise it’s an adorably peaceful place to live.”

“I’ve been a resident here for almost a year now. This is my first apartment and I’ve had nothing but great experiences. Staff is welcoming and friendly and easy to get a hold of. Pet friendly ! I take my dog everyday to the lobby to get his free treat. I love when special events are going on. Food trucks and different contests for your chance to win a prize!”

“I spent a year at Liberty Place. It was the best you could do in the city for a fair price. I never had any issues with my air conditioner, like I see in a lot of comments. Phyllicia was great, but I was sad when they let Tavia go. They're very good with pets. They allowed me to stay with my pitbull, and would even coordinate repairs for the time that worked best for me. People don't pick up their dogs poop but you can't blame the complex for that. The pool can definitely have a frat party vibe, but you also can't blame the complex for that. The gym is not up to par but enough to cover the basics. There's a kroger across the street. What more could you ask for?”

“Unfortunately the garage parking is very expensive; I had to pay $145 per month. There have been multiple car break-ins in the garage, but thankfully they installed cameras throughout to hopefully help with this problem. The staff is always friendly. Founders was very accommodating; when I moved out, they extended my lease a few days. This was great, so that I didn't have to pay for an entire extra month's rent when I only needed a few days.”

“Stayed here as an AirBnB for 7 days. The neighbours are very kind and is a very quiet place, the bad thing is how dirty the corridors and elevators are. I'm amazed it remains dirty with food on the floor for days. Is pet friendly so don't get scare of massive dogs joining you in the elevator. My apartment was alright, but very dusty, should have cleaned up before our arrival, we asked for cleaning supplies to clean ourselves, took three days to deliver, but we thank the team very much for replying within minutes for any message we sent. Second floor lobby got a free starbucks machine with three blends of coffee, hot cocoa and chai tea lattes until they ran out (2 days jaja), the area is good and the small rooftop is a nice area to hangout.”

“Had a great experience with your installation and repair division. Dalton was our installer on our floor repair and he was extremely professional, conscientious, and provided us some great great recommendations. Thanks Dalton for your work and excellence this week.”

“Affordable and nice size apartment. But if you don't smoke don't come. Neighbors smoke so much weed the smell is always in your place. New management on sight is leaps better then the last manager.”

“I’ve heard they have new management there now and I’m sure things will improve. Honestly you can’t blame nobody but the people who leave trash on ground and who leave apartments in terrible condition after moving out. It takes time to get things under control especially when the prior management wasn’t doing their part. Give it time and you will see good things.”

“I'm giving them 5 ⭐️'s only because I feel people are being to harsh on this place. US as PEOPLE make the neighborhood NOT the other way around! The workers aren't the ones who's making it unsafe, unsanitary, and just plain GHETTO ??! You all as a community need to come together and DO BETTER! If you see something that is disturbing SPEAK UP. How are they supposed to do anything about something that not brought to their attention. And come on folks anywhere is NOT safe anymore especially after the pandemic and prices have went up everyone is on edge and will do just about ANYTHING to get by. I'm a single mother of 3 and is looking for a place to stay and it's not where you live it's HOW YOU CHOOSE TO LIVE! I would be happy to stay somewhere instead of the streets. So be grateful and what's best for you and your family. But are they accepting new applicants?”

“I have lived at UV for 2 years, and I have always had a great experience here. I have used the busses every day to get to class, and they have been great. It is a huge plus to have a bus system here since parking on campus is horrible and very expensive. No other complexes have a bus system so that was my biggest reason to choose UV. I have always had great experiences with maintenance as well. My air conditioners did not work when I moved in, and I let them know and they gave me brand new ones. It is a really big complex, so it is understandable that sometimes things take a while to get finished, but they really do try their best to please their residents and make things right. I have already renewed my lease here for next year!”
