“I enjoy the small shop, they typically have everything I need. If you do need lumber or would for a project, I would not recommend but anything else, they are good to go. Veterans discount is as easy as showing ID. Prices can be a bit higher than you will find at lowes or homedepot.”

“Needed a drill bit to cut through hardened steel plate (10) holes 7/8" dia. Bought what we believed to be what was needed. Stepped up the holes small to large using oil. When using the larger bit it wouldn't cut properly. Returned the bit explained what had taken place, the owner worked with me & replaced the bit with one from a set & took care of my problem. I've bought different items from here & have always been greeted upon arrival & helped in my purchases. Prices are high like everywhere else, but they've given me real & honest information & treated me fairly. The tools that I have purchased have performed well & done the jobs intended!”
“Ordered 3 sets of legs and some custom shelf brackets from them. I picked them up, as I am local. To say that I was impressed with the quality and workmanship would be an understatement. Wow do they do good work. I have worked in industry for many years in skilled trades and as an engineer. There shop is one of the most well kept and organized facilities that I have EVER been in. This translates into their products. Simply well made, well finished, and well packaged when I picked them up. Would definitely recommend them if you need legs or any of the other products they make. I also picked up one of their plant stands while I was there, and it is as nice as the table legs I ordered. Update November 1st - added photos as I finally got the tops from the Amish guy who made them. The walnut tables look great with the black legs. The oak plant stand is also very modern looking with the black legs and risers.”

“One of the last true hardware stores around. Walked in with an oddball fastener, they got me fixed right up. The gentleman working there took one look and knew exactly where his stock was. It's unfortunate these types of stores are on the decline. Support local. Got exactly what I needed and picked up some salt for the sidewalk, a scoop for it, and a bucket with a waterproof lid to store it. There's nowhere better!”

“We've experienced great service at the Lowe's at 3616 E Broad St. in Columbus, Ohio. Just purchased a washer and dryer this morning. Brandyn, a department manager, remembered us from a previous purchase and did all he could to help us get the most for our money this time. Iris, a new staff member, was helpful in getting us answers to our questions and helping us compare different brands. We highly recommend this store for large appliance purchases.”
“We just went out, to meet with Home Depot looking for something to spruce things up and we took the granite on the spot. Plus they installed it all in one day. It was great. I think it was in the morning and we had it by afternoon. We love it and they gave us lots of information on how to care for it. They didn’t tear up anything that we had in the process. Their price was good. The quality was excellent; just like as it was in the showroom. Then we went and we were using the Ultra Premium Behr paint so we took a shutter in and they were able to match the color perfectly and after we brought it home and we have even painted over some of the other old trim and we can't tell it as the color matches perfectly and the quality of the paint was there and consumer report has been rated top for a long time, so that is why we chose that. We have really found the color matching to be wonderful. The service was wonderful. The price is comparable. When we like the stuff, and don't mind if we need to pay more either.”

“I'm crying my eyes out as I leave this review. My oldest brother was diagnosed with lung cancer. He was starting chemo so I thought it would be nice to get him a lift chair. Around this time, my husband was fighting a terrible bout of Covid. I ordered my brothers chair via Menards website and thought it would take a while to arrive so I'd have time to take care of hubby. NOPE! That bad boy was there lightning fast. I called the store in a panic and spoke to a very kind gentleman named Tony. He assured me he would hold the chair. Today, my brother is moving into his forever home. I pray to God that he'll be there for a long time. I looked on the website, and it showed I was past the pickup time. My heart sank to the floor! His chair was gone! I called the store. I got a manager who located Tony and this amaaaaaazing human had held the chair! This kind of kindness and thoughtfulness guarantees we will continue to shop Menards! Thank you so much, Tony, for being a man of your word. May God bless you and yours!
