βThis place is great for quick in and out purchases. They have a great variety of essentials and the prices are reasonable compared to other local retailers. The ease of getting your items and out the door in less than a minute is what makes this place great. Also a great location given the lack of proximity to other similar businesses.β
βStopped in while exploring the island, like a mini Walmart!. Great prices too. They had a whole upstairs hardware store i guess i didnt even see! Lol super cool store with a few little boutique shops outside too!β
βThe employees today (one in particular but I did not get her name) went above and beyond to resolve an issue with my pick up order. Very thankful for her how quickly she was able to help and her kindness ?β
βThank god for this place my crew was up there this week for a state job at Lonz mansion owner and staff was very welcoming here and great service definitely after my crew had crappy service down the street the night previously and we were not able to eat due to uncooked foodβ¦ this food was good and well cooked thank you for lunchβ
βLove this store, they have amazing produce and very clean store, they also have hard to find items the other stores do not have. A bit pricey but worth the quality and variety offered.β
βLove this place they've gotten quite expensive over the last 4 years but so has everyone else. Everyday from 4 to 7 they have $4.00 rotisserie chicken. Which is amazing. And they're chicken salad is to die for. You gotta try it.β

βConvenient little store on the island.. could use some updating. It's kinda run down ceiling tiles falling in and such. And of course it's on an island so things aren't normal prices a bit more expensive.β
βLooking for a great selection of ipas and other sorts of beers. This is the place to go. They also have a really great selection of cigars and their humidor actually works compared to other places around town. Great selection and great prices ?β
βCome here very often as it is close by. Very friendly staff. Make me feel like I'm part of a community. Nice to everyone, and try to get to know and interact with regulars.β

βThis store is our go to grocery place. Occasionally, they will run out of a specific item, but in general, every item on my shopping list is in stock.
Sometimes I cannot find a specific thing, so I open the app and search for it and the aisle is clearly marked for me.
Also, you cannot beat the dollars accumulated with savings. Last year I had $974 in savings!β
βGreat little grocery spot at the gas station! Meat, chicken, deli, veggies β theyβve got the basics covered. Prices are small and reasonable, especially considering how far it is from the city. Perfect for the village, a real hidden gem!β
βI come into this store all the time. Each and every time the employees are super nice and always have a smile on their faces. More places should take note of how these employees are. Iβve never had an unpleasant experience coming here!!!! You are all wonderful!!!β
βSolid market serving locals and tourists alike. It's small, but full, and had deli foods, meat, some veggies, dry goods, some health items, etc. We were able to get what we needed in just a couple of minutes, even snagging a parking spot out front!β

βLove this place bought a $20 lottery ticket in Port Clinton on my way home called to ask if they could have cash it the lady there at night cash my ticket for me with no problem even went on her way to get money out the cash registering and have plenty to cash it thank you to whoever you are she was night shiftβ
βStore was a little cluttered but staff were working on shelves. Cashier was very friendly and engaging. Talked about her dog and being pregnant while still ringing me up in a timely manner.β
βThey are always helpful compared to a lot of dollar generals. I love that for in a convenient location for people who are in the area donβt have to drive farther. They always have any kind of health product you need! They now offer a produce section, Iβd say pretty nice!?β
βThey have many samples. I was so happy they had keep cool bags so I could buy some things to take home with me. We had a 3 hour drive. The pimento cheese and the pepper jack cheese were probably my favorite things I bought. Itβs a fun little stop!β
βLove the store on corner of Venice and Tiffin Ave in Sandusky, Ohio...I disagree with the person who said there is no dollar deals...they have a whole long aisle of $1.00 products that are great deals...it's the closest store in the far West End of town to buy groceries and misc items esp when you are short on time or too much physical disability to walk through Kroger's, Menards, Meijers, or Walmart...they can be exhausting for those of us who are elderly...the employees have always been very friendly and extremely helpful...kuddos to all Dollar General stores and their employees???β

βFriendly staff: right place, good hours. This convenience store is right across from Kelley's Island state park camping area. They have many of the basic items you forgot about and left at home (Firestarters, pop, hot dogs). Additionally they have clothes, souvenirs, and ice cream. Ice cream was good- everyone enjoyed what they got. They have approximately 16 flavors. The only negative is a $10 minimum on credit cards- but don't worry- its not hard to hit the minimum.β
βIt seems as if this Walmart location is starting to take steps to better organize their store, which is great considering how bad it was a year ago. Typically, I drive the 20 minutes into Norwalk to go to Walmart, as that store tends to be much cleaner, more organized, and feels safer to be in, but lately I have been going to the Sandusky location for a few items and the experience has become much more positive. I feel like I can finally go in there and find what I am looking for without the store being an epic mess.β
βIn my town this is the only store to get pretty much anything you need. From groceries to clothes to hardware. My only gripe is they hired a whole bunch of new people for the whole store. so there are a lot of things out of place, checkers don't seem to know what's going on and the place seems to be going downhill.β

βWe were pleasantly surprised to find this wine bar that welcomes everyone into their Cozy atmosphere. There are high top tables, but most people chose to sit in the sections of sofas and cushy chairs. The wine is good and they also serve beer. The live music was excellent, popular songs but not loud.β
