“Wow. I was looking for a specific floating plant for my aquarium. I purchased a batch of frogbit--super green, no snails. What impressed me more was that this is a traditional neighborhood pet store. I will always go here first, instead of a big box chain from now on. Wonderful vibe.”

“This place has grooming for your pets. It also has washing stations for you to rent and shampoo your own pets. Looks like a great option. The fish tanks are well tended to and the fish seem healthy. They have live food available and also sell reptiles. They also sell birds, Guinea pigs, hamsters and tarantulas. Extensive amount of foods for all pets. Plenty of toys, bones and pet clothes too.”

“My dog and I love Hollywood Feed! They are always so kind and can help with any questions or needs I have for my dog. And even when I don’t bring her in they give me a dog bag of treats for her to go! Great store and great options for all your pets needs!”

“I love Lake Erie pet food probably more than my dog friend Bruce. When I say, “are you hungry for food?” He runs to his bowl ready to feast on his fresh local kibble made in Cleveland (I think that is the correct way to describe it). The main ingredients are chicken and rice.

I love it because it is delivered to my door on a monthly schedule. It is easy for me to adjust if I want it to arrive the next week or a week earlier.

Incase of an emergency I can always run down to Ohio city and pick up a bag which rarely happens (unless Bruce the dog is visiting my parents and they over feed him).

There is no cardboard to recycle due to the burlap bags the food is delivered in. It can then be given back to them or they will pick it up the next time they drop off food.

The Cleveland area is on a rotation to reduce carbon emissions from cars. How cool is that!

I used to run around to buy large bags of dog food. This is significantly easier.
Also, the dog friend needs less food due to the high quality :-)

“This place may be small and not super fancy but they have a very nice selection of fish and rocks and whatnot. This place isn't in my area but we were nearby and decided to stop. I'm glad we did as they had all the fish I had been looking for but can't find anywhere within my area. We bought a few fish and will be back for sure. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. They also have some super cool massive Cichlid tanks to check out while you're there!”

“Unlike other pet supply stores in the area, it's easy to get help from an associate at this store. They will patiently allow you to make sure that you have the right size harness, collar, vest, etc. for your pet. That's why I go to their store instead of their competitors.”

“In today’s (scamming) society 5 stars is an understatement, there’s nothing bogus about this business … the breeders are awesome and conduct amazingly trustworthy business. Persian cats have always been a dream of mine and to think one would’ve been enough, who was I kidding.. when I first laid eyes on them, it was then I knew that I couldn’t get one without the other…. The process leading to bringing them home was very professional, I was able to go see them and at anytime, make payments (received receipts) until the time of pickup…. I received pictures and video footage of their growth and the breeder never once gave me any negative vides…. So to Gabrielle, I sent you a reply that the mail server should of sent you a tracking no, and then asked you to let me know they did so I could then get it for you. You ordered lids that did not fit your containers and never even asked me to resend, you just wanted me to know which lids you wanted and I ask you how was I to know the ones you ordered were not the ones you wanted. “Normally this store and location are great. The staff here is always willing to assist.
But today I encountered a horrific issue with an online purchase.
I saw the item on line and since I had to go to the store wanted to order it there but have it sent to another person as a surprise gift.

The sales clerk told me I could do it on line on their computer but I didn't have my glasses so she assisted after I asked. After several attempts to get the information correct, she put the name and address in for the recipient. When everything was done, the system continued to go back to my home address. She stated it was because of the credit card and would have to be shipped to my home.

I can understand I had not been in the store and maybe they thought it was scammer using my credit card info but no, I was there in person.

I had the cash with me but apparently the order requires credit cards.

This will make me hesitant to order anything from the store in the future and only do in store shopping. This needs to be addressed as I am sure other people have had issues with on line ordering.”

“Received a msg from vet about a specific food for my pets. Petco was the 1st to pop up that showed it was available. I got there and it was due to close in 10 to 15 minutes.
The employees were very accommodating. Answered any questions I had, showed me alternatives and let me know the return policy incase the recommended one didn't go well.
They also let me know about the vaccine and grooming services which I had no idea were available. And signed me up for the card when I was checking out. All that and they still closed on time. I appreciated the time they gave and help I received while I was there and will be returning ( without my purchases because they worked out).

I love the non preasure felling shoping here where you can browse your favorite pets you may want to purchase in the future but always have a friendly knowledgeable staff member available when you have questions about the pet your interested in. “This shelter does everything it can to make sure animals go home to loving families. We just adopted our second cat from this shelter and have nothing but good things to say about the people who work here. They were all busy taking care of the animals and you could tell they really care about every one of them.”

“Love everything about this location except for the young lady working the fish department. We bring our dog for grooming and but food for them and our cats. Recently I set up a fish tank for my mother-in-law. My ans I took my mother-in-law to Parma to pick out her fish. Already having the knowledge of how many fish we can put in the tank that would be ideal for the fish, she in a very condescending tone questioned the amount. Was very poor of by her attitude. We will still go to this location for other needs, but we will never get fish from her a long as she working at this location.”

I have a mini golden doodle puppy and it was his first grooming so I was a little nervous. He did exactly how I asked him to groom him! “What marvelous experience I had as I walked into Petland in Parma. A friendly welcome and ready to show you all the fur babies that are available. I was able to meet Laura; she is the Manager at this location. Charming, friendly and attentive as I expressed my interest in 2 Shih-tzus. I have them for more than 20yrs. Yes, Rockyjoe lasted in my care for that long. I am searching for siblings. She asked all the right question and the awesome responses to my question. We made arrangements to keep in touch since I have plenty of time in the pursuit of my doggies. Wonderful just wonderful!! I met Aubry, I can see she is a busy bee, super attentive to the door greeting customers and overall enjoying what she is doing. Is hard to find young ladies that actually work and doing a great job. All in this location need to acknowledge for their contributions to Petland. Outside on the wall is the name, Petland, however WITHOUT the employees that are there giving face and uplifting the company by their FABULOUS performance WOULD be nothing without them. Just a name on the wall.
How I got to Petland began with a call. Selena was my first contact. She listened attentively as I told her my story. I heard in her tone and voice, how empathetic she was at that time. She is like the walking computer of the place. Her knowledge and passion for was she does was noted. I thought she was a manager. Well, with the wonderful interaction I had with her, left me so at peace and motivated that this group of young ladies and assisting me in finding my fur babies. I see Selena progressing up the ladder to greater things. Aubry also even though I did not have that much of interaction. If you are searching for a 4-legged companion, THIS is the place to GO!!!!! I am so happy and excited to do my business with PETLAND PARMA!!!!”
