“We stopped by the store on a road trip and was met by wonderful employees! Both were very helpful and offered suggestions on books for my daughter. One of the employees told us about an amazing restaurant in Wytheville, VA which we stopped at and had a wonderful dinner!”
“Barnes and Nobles is always a great experience. You can easily find the categories you're looking for which are displayed well. The magazine section Is very extensive. If you sign up for membership you are entitled to a free tote - the blue was my choice this year. Also with the membership you get discounts on your purchases! You could spend an hour just browsing around. It is worth the time spent away from computers and phones for a little bit- you owe it to yourself to drop in.”
“Half Price Books sells books. They are half price. If you like books, you can buy some there. That is what I did. I took them home. I read them one at a time, sequentially. They added to my personal store of knowledge, thereby enriching my life. When I was done reading them, I put them in a bookcase, where they can rest with their fellow books, adorning my personal library, until I die and my daughter burns them in a bonfire. May the light of knowledge illumine this dark world. Herein ends my review. Go forth and read.”
“3/27/21...This was the first store we stopped at when we got to the mall. There was a great clearance sale on calendars, but we didn't need any. There was a sale section in the back of the store where I found 2 games (for adults) & my son also found 2 games/toys. These were a great deal! We overheard other customers talk about how a lot of the (regular priced) items could be found cheaper at Target & they were right but we still enjoyed the experience. Also, the cashier was really nice. I'm sure those that like to buy holiday gifts super early would find some great bargains if they had extra money, time & patience to go through everything.”

“Rented out the upstairs at Mulberry St Books for our daughters 16th birthday. So thankful we did, it was perfect! Talking with the kind lady who booked us and then when we arrived, she was lovely. Cutest little shop for sure??Definitely will rebook the upstairs again for anymore parties we have!”
