“Half Price Books is the best used book store in the tri-state ( OH, IN,KY). The Mason store is closest to my home. Most importantly Mason seems to get the remainders on either my wish or gift lists. And Mason gets themed collections such as Osprey Publishing collections deaccessioned from a library or a personal collections. Which makes shopping at HPB like hitting the jackpot. Well worth the trip.”
“Employees are very nice and always super helpful when helping you find what you need and if they don't have it they will look at other stores nearby and call them for you and have that item put on hold so you can drive there to pick it up”
“We stopped by the store on a road trip and was met by wonderful employees! Both were very helpful and offered suggestions on books for my daughter. One of the employees told us about an amazing restaurant in Wytheville, VA which we stopped at and had a wonderful dinner!”
“This store came to my attention because they were hosting a visit from Raptor, Inc., a local Raptor rescue group. That's a separate discussion.The store is a nice independent bookstore and the staff member I talked to was very helpful and congenial.A side note; the store is in a historic building that is not easily accessible for wheelchairs. There are a number of steps. I'm sure that the staff would try to help, but I can't speak for them.”
“My new go-to bookstore. Although it looks small it has packs in a ton of books and the owner and employees are incredibly helpful. Also they can place orders for any books not in store. I frequently get gift cards from here as kids' birthday presents.”
“Every employee here is so kind and helpful! I came in a few weeks ago looking for the book my book club most recently picked. One of the employees helped me find it and we got to discussing books that we had both read by a different author. I appreciated the discussion and the employee's suggestions. The cashier was very kind and friendly too! This location seems to have a good selection of books.”

“Rented the oratory and lawn for a private event. The facility was absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect location for such an important gathering. However, the exceptional kindness of the women who run the place was so very appreciated. Elizabeth in particular was a refreshing, calm voice during a hectic time. I would absolutely encourage anyone to consider Grailville as the location for their next celebration.”
