“Jeremy is awesome, the last 5 times I went in he helped me get exactly what I needed and always goes above and beyond to make sure I come back. Good people over there”
“Shout out to Dollar Tree in Westerville, and the Associate, Ms. Ashley who assisted Me. Outstanding customer service when I walked in, and when I left the store. In addition, this store at 5990 Westerville Road had stocked items, a variety of things I can't find in other stores. For instance, My vitamins; more than enough, My hair products, scarfs, food items in the freezer. Just very well stocked. Highly recommend and definitely will be back! Ohhh and the store is CLEAN!!!”
“I love five below and no matter what everytime I go in there atleast one employee greets me says hello can I help you doesn’t judge me or point me out of a crowd or I bother me while shopping I love that store and there cute little cheap things thy have”
“I hadn’t been in Gabe’s since it opened. I got some deals for my Granddaughter! I brought a beautiful picture of a peacock ?! The customer service was really nice. Of course; I browsed around to see what they had. It is a discount store. It had a wide selection of items! A large sale of clothing?????????????? for everyone.”
“If y’all are skipping out on DFWH, you are paying way too much for clothes. I busted out of there with 2 pairs of jeans and 3 tops for $50. FIFTY DOLLARS! Staff are always super friendly and I prefer this location over all of them for the cleanliness and selection.”
“This is the best dollar tree by far! The staff is always so friendly everytime I visit. It’s also always extremely clean and well maintained. They always are working hard and quickly when I visit. I Would reccomend everyone to visit this location”
“This is a nice Dollar Tree. They even have a price checker. Please use the price checker instead of taking all your merchandise up to the cashier. She has enough to do then put your merchandise back.”
“The professionalism working with Khalia is exceptional. She goes above and beyond for her Cust with her smile and patience. 161 E Dublin Granville road location.”
“This place is GREAT! I always get some really great deals here on some really cute clothes whenever I make it in to shop. So much of the stuff is so unique. I saw plenty of Ann Taylor, Chicos, Express, Victoria Secret, and plenty of other name brands from which to choose! They also had A BUNCH of really nice looking boots of all different shapes, sizes, and colors. For the people that work outside I could not believe the huge selection of outdoor stuff they had to keep people warm. I know for a fact that I have paid so much more money for that kind of stuff in other places. And these gloves feel just as warm!! And of course, since they have so much Victoria's secret stuff..... That fun stuff was definitely less expensive here than it is at the mall. And the customer service is great.... This very nice guy named Chase gave me a very nice warm greeting as soon as I came in the door. And I think that he said something like....(In a very warm tone ) ... If you see anything that you like.. it's 20% off! Even though there were signs everywhere, I had somehow missed that! Haha....they were having a special sale. Chase was very helpful throughout my visit whenever I needed any help or had any questions. This place is great. As a single mom, it has saved me many times. I can get really cute clothes at great prices. And like I said, the staff is always really nice and friendly. If you look at my pictures..... Those are boots from Express which which had been marked down to 49.99..... there were no defects ..they were in great shape. I peeled that off the 49.99 pricetag and looked at the original tag...original price was 78..... But I think that I paid about 15 bucks for them at DFWH. If you're a single mom or want a great deal, you might want to check out this place. :)”
“The 161 store needs to take lessons from this store. Carmen was very professional she even took the time to find the product I needed Thank Carmen for exemplifying not good but GRRREAT customer service.”
“Love Marc's! Great product selection. I do my big shopping there at the beginning of every month. They have most of what I need. Good wine and cheese offerings. Great product and meat. And the quirky buyouts they do are great.”
“I always try to stop in to this store when in the area. Store was actually neat and pretty well stocked!! Quite an accomplishment for a busy store. Bravo ladies!!”
“I was just there earlier today and my cashier was amazing. She was so friendly and sweet. The line was long but she didn’t let that get to her. I appreciate her taking the time to be friendly today when so many others aren’t.”
“Kudos for them to have things so cheap! It's a great being able to go somewhere and only spend a $5 bill and get three items. I buy a lot of my holiday decor there because that way I don't have to store it I can just donate it and buy new next year..”
“For as poorly this company seems to treat them, the employees here are incredibly nice and helpful and all 4 stars are for them. I once went in there when it was at least 85 degrees outside and the ac wasn’t working, yet the cashier was so kind and bubbly. That being said, they clearly need to schedule more people at a time.”
“Hi, it’s a good service. This is a family grocery store. We can get cooking items kids playing items. We can get cooking pots. I am highly recommended him this place. Thank you.”
“Great selection of games, sound systems, and computers. It can be kind of hit or miss but the selection changes regularly enough to make it worth stopping in every now and then. Prices are usually fair.”
“Store manager is so amazing and helpful!! I have never seen a store look so clean, stocked and organized. I go here over the Kroger and Target that is closer to me because it is always an amazing experience and she keeps the energy so positive and lively!! Will always be a customer :)”
“I LOVED this Gabe's! It is a huge store with a large selection of items, and the cleanest, most organized Gabe's store I have ever been in! The staff was also very nice and friendly. Have told several friends about this store. Highly recommend!”
“First time at this Dollar Tree. Was looking for the Snickers and Twix iced coffee drinks. Unfortunately they didn't have any, so I decided to try the Cinnamon Toast Crunch ones. I'm keeping my fingers crossed they are as good as the others.”
“Sunbury Ohio The people in here are so friendly! The store is always so nice and neat and clean. I have Dollar General’s that are closer to me, but I always prefer to go to this one. It’s amazing how organized and maintain their shelves are they are never sloppy or messy and it’s very easy to find what you need”
“The staff is very helpful and friendly. This store has improve greatly. Much cleaner. Boxes are not sitting around. It has a wide variety of food items. Its like a small grocery store. It is well organized.”
“Pros:- There some not a bad things that you can buy there for a dollar ( like soap, laundry detergent etc). And others.- Some cashiers are friendly and helpful ( especially Aaron).Cons:- Be careful with food especially meat stuff ! Check expiration dates.Recently bought couple sausages, felt bad after eating and tried to return second one. They don't accept returns for food stuff ( for example, Kroger does).- Sometimes it is hard to find something ( ask cashiers).Ps. I'm not so picky customer and don't compare DG with Kroger or Target. Of course, for shopping better to go to target or Kroger, but to survive - DG is ok”
“Awww me and my kids had a blast in there! They had everything stocked and the store is clean!!!! And we found so many good deals on everyday items! I even found Cherry Dr. Pepper! We are most definitely making this our family go to store!!!”
“I have been going to this location for years, and I the staff is amazing! Monday I came in to get a employee a happy birthday balloon, I am not a fan of balloons, and staff member SUMMER, was kind enough to put the balloon in a plastic garbage bag so I could have less anxiety with it in my car. She went above and beyond to help me! I would love for someone to give her an applause and some flowers for being an angel that day! Thank you!! ??”
“The prices are always great, I can easily find what I need and I’m in and out just how I like it. I love my trips to Dollar General, they’re always made easy.”
“I shop at DG quite a bit, I have never had any problems while doing some shopping . I find the manager and the cashiers to be friendly and helpful. And from what I've seen...the store is clean and stocked. Keep up the great work guys!!!!”
“I came in a hurry looking for super glue and asked the clerk Bethany were it was...She walked me right to it! Bethany is definitely a go-getter and a great asset to Dollar general thanks again Bethany”
Burlington Stores is giving its locations a major makeover. The off-price retailer has already transformed about half of its 1,115 stores and plans to complete the redesign across its entire fleet by the end of 2026. The company calls this makeover "Store Experience 2.0." Gone are the cramped aisles and confusing layouts that once defined discount shopping. Instead, Burlington is creating wider walkways, organized sections, and clearer signs to help shoppers find what they need.
Dollar General is adding more of its private label food offerings to stores, following similar moves by big retailers like Walmart and Amazon as store brands keep growing in popularity. The store is launching new items under its own labels, including ice cream, cinnamon rolls, coffee syrups, and salad dressings. The move comes as store brand sales reached $271 billion in 2024, up nearly 4% from 2023.
Daiso, the beloved Japanese retailer known for its variety of affordable household goods, is expanding further in the U.S. market. This week, the company is celebrating the grand openings of three new stores in Texas and California. On Saturday, Aug. 10, Daiso debuted an 8,000-sq.-ft. location in Beaumont, Texas, at Dowlen Towne Center, as well as two Southern California stores - a 6,319-sq.-ft. space in Van Nuys at Mid Valley Marketplace and a 5,200-sq.-ft. store in Westminster at Westminster Center.
Dollar Tree is moving into 170 former 99 Cents Only stores, marking a big shift in the discount retail landscape. The company announced Wednesday it's taking over leases in Arizona, California, Nevada, and Texas, with plans to reopen the stores under its own brand as early as fall 2024.
Ollie's Bargain Outlet just landed a great deal of its own, winning a $14.6 million bankruptcy auction for 11 former 99 Cents Only store locations across Texas. The discount retail chain pounced after 99 Cents Only abruptly went out of business in March, shuttering all 371 of its stores in California, Arizona, Texas, and Nevada. Ollie's quickly made an opening "stalking horse bid" to grab over a dozen of the empty properties.
