“Updating my 1-Star review to a 5-Star review because of Maranda. She is an OUTSTANDING associate. Professional, helpful, willing to go the extra mile, she knows the system, everything. I'm just really impressed with her. You normally don't find service like that. She should be managing the store.”

“First time shopping at this location. I was very impressed with how clean and orderly this store was when I visited today. The staff was also very nice. And I was able to find all the items I was looking to purchase. While this is just a one time experience, I will consider shopping at this location in the future when looking for items they carry.”

“They have new owners now I’m pretty sure it’s not considered a big lots anymore. It’s independently owned, which means I think they can make their own prices and do what they want. A lot of people don’t like the new change. I think it’s better. The prices seem cheaper to me, but I don’t know.”

“They have something for all ages and all sizes at great prices. Most of the items are returns so best to check for buttons and zippers etc. And, the stock is always changing. Sometimes I find like 10 things, other times 1 or 2. They also have name brands at a fraction of the cost. I got $70 jeans for $15!! Lots of lingerie, shoes, purses etc too.”

“Mike, the manager at the Dollar Tree on South High, consistently demonstrates strong leadership and professionalism. Each visit reflects a well-managed store environment—clean, organized, and well-stocked despite the high volume of customer traffic. He maintains a positive and respectful atmosphere, and it’s clear his leadership sets the tone for the store’s daily operations. Given the challenges of the surrounding area, the level of consistency and control maintained inside the store is especially noteworthy and speaks directly to his commitment. I would also like to recognize the team members who show up and put in the effort each day to keep the store running. Your reliability and hard work contribute greatly to the overall experience and do not go unnoticed. Mike’s leadership, combined with a dependable team, makes a clear impact and is deserving of recognition.”

“have only been to this location twice, but both experiences left a lasting impression thanks to Lena. On my last visit, I was searching for a particular product that seemed impossible to find. It was either low in stock or completely sold out at most locations. Lena took the time to help me and was able to track it down when no one else could. More recently, I called the store in search of yet another hard-to-find product. Once again, inventory was limited everywhere, and I was having no luck finding it. Lena came to the rescue yet again. She went above and beyond to help me locate exactly what I needed. Lena is truly a superwoman. She is incredibly sweet, patient, knowledgeable, and genuinely customer-focused. In a world where great customer service can be hard to find, she stands out in the best possible way. She never made me feel like I was inconveniencing her and treated me with kindness and enthusiasm every step of the way. Employees like Lena are rare, and she is a huge asset to this store. I cannot thank her enough for her outstanding service and willingness to go the extra mile. Thank you so much, Lena—you made all the difference!”

“This grocery store offers a pleasant shopping experience. It is clean, and the produce section is commendable, particularly the fresh greens, which stood out in terms of quality, price, and quantity. The offer of two bundles for $1.00 is quite a good value. This is also the only store I've found that stocks my preferred chips, Mesquite Smoked Bacon by Mike Sells, in addition to other popular brands. They offer a wide selection of pork products. However, some of these items appeared to have been previously thawed and refrozen, and did not look particularly fresh, including the hog maws. My general impression is that the suburban Sav-A-Lot locations may offer a better experience than those in the inner city, as each store seems to cater to its specific clientele. While most of the fruits and vegetables were satisfactory, the pomegranates were an exception, and some prices seemed rather high, comparable to those found at Whole Foods.”

“I have been wanting to post a review of this store for sometime. The new management in this particular store are simply amazing! I use to hate going in there, staff was always gathered up front or outside. No one was working! But that’s no longer important. Everyone is available to speak with if I’m in need of help, friendly. Shelves are stocked neatly with products. Clean!! The only reason why I’m giving the store a 4 and not a 5, not b/c the Staff bur b/c of the Save a lot Companies. I’m not impressed with the produce quality!!! Staff are 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“As soon as I walked in a middle aged lady named Sherry greeted me with the most pleasant smile. I brought up 4 binders and right away she noticed one was dirty. She sprayed it and cleaned it and said I apologize i can't have it walk out with a dirty binder. She went above and beyond to satisfy and while it wasn't a problem I truly appreciate her and her service.”

“I love Marc’s - it’s like a blend of the old Odd Lots experience of a treasure hunt with Northeast Ohio brands that can be hard to find in Columbus. It’s old school - this is not where you go for your fresh handmade quinoa salad and organic tangelos. If your ideal grocery store is Whole Foods, Marc’s will seem like, as one non-fan put it, a Soviet immersion experience. But they’ve always got more seasonal/holiday stuff than the big stores - if you’re looking for pumpkin spice everything or the full Griswold Christmas, you’ll find it here. You’ll also find good prices even on the non-closeout stuff and a surprising selection of international foods.”
