“I am a local and have been shopping here for years. I enjoy shopping here and the staff are very friendly. Though the prices have gone up due to inflation. Other than that i find shopping here enjoyable.”
“Very nice local store. Prices are higher than some of the big chains but that is understandable. It's very clean and their meat and bakery section has a large selection.”
“Thank you for being a friend, and please try to stay on topic and keep comments appropriate and review to something related to alcohol and spirits. This section is reserved for the State Snake Oil Physicians Agency (inside McKrackin's IGA) and yes, Kroger bought it so now it's McKrackin. The McKrackin's IGA has its own section for reviews. Thank you.”
“This store has very nice employees. Lots of merchandise to choose from. There was quite a few big boxes in different aisles I think for restocking. Those boxes made it very difficult to get around the store. I also was unable to see or reach a few items. I would recommend a little more organization or restock after hours.”
“Been coming here since I moved here back in late 2022 and never had a bad interaction here. They always have what I'm coming for so I've never had to substitute anything. My only complaint is on behalf of the employees. Yall need to take it easy on them if they are short staffed. I seen a sign one day saying they had to close earlier because they had been sent 2 trucks of deliveries with little to no help because of them being short staffed. I'm not sure as to why they are short staffed as I've not worked there before but corporate or who ever runs this establishment needs to take it easy on this store”
“I absolutely hated the staff in this place. I live local and my wife and i go there often. Was full of rude disrespectful cashiers/management. Cody is the best thing to happen to this location. Great kid always polite and smiles. Dont ruin it DG”
“Fast friendly efficient... I like the big cities when I went to sporting goods two young men were behind the counter asking me if I needed help that was really nice...”

“I stop here at least twice a week. My oasis. Here you'll find frozen meals for a quick supper, fresh milk, eggs, butter, bread; packaged cold cuts, good selection of canned goods and condiments; household essentials like ice trays, can opener, salt & pepper; chips, dips, and salsa, beef sticks, snack cake, nuts & pretzels; ice cream; microwave ready burgers/chicken sammies; soft drinks galore, beer, wine, lower proof liquor, bulk tobacco, cigarettes (some of the really good cheapo brands), little cigars, vapes; lottery scratch-offs. Prices are reasonable. The counter guys are nice and friendly. I'm sure I missed something. Oh yeah, there's always a bunch of bananas at checkout. I probably still missed something. Come on in and see for yourself.”
“I have never been disappointed going here, the adventure starts with the welcome staff and deli for me, and everyone working the floor making sure I am able to find what I am looking for. With getting good customer service even though I am using a self check out from the team around is pretty awesome.
This Wallmart is just built different.”
“This DG is just fine. It's well organized, acceptably clean, and (important) pretty well stocked with possible exception of the refrigerated foods. They have a really good selection of USA-made greeting cards that are as low as 50 cents. Sometimes there are only one or two employees on hand. That is a sign of the times I'm afraid. However the workers are invariably friendly and able to help you find what you're looking for, even walking you over to the right area instead of just pointing. The parking lot's a little awkward and has a pothole that badly needs filling. If no one's at the counter they have a funny squeaky toy to signal...instead of a bell as a lot of places have. If you really can't wait a minute or two, there's a self-checkout (card only).”
“When time is short and you need something quickly, this is a good place to stop. It is the only such store in West Alexandria, so there is no competition. At one time there was another "Dollar" store in town. It was a locally owned store; much smaller than Dollar General. The prices were really good at the other place, but they could not compete with the much larger (and varied) inventory of Dollar General. I hated to see the other store close. The owner held out as long as possible, but the closure was inevitable. That being said, it is good to have Dollar General in West Alexandria; saves having to drive to one in another town.”

“This Kroger location is an older location, straight up from the 90s! I love the aesthetics inside this store. It reminds me of my local Kroger before they remodel it. It’s very nice and clean inside. This location is moving across the street in the former Kmart.”
“Joey Savage the assistant manager is awesome!
Always kind and professional
Called me about a product that was not yet in stock to let me know it had come in.
Give this employee a raise!
Excellent customer service every time.”
“I went on Saturday night 3/28 and I wish I could remember the woman’s name behind the counter, but she was so sweet! She was extremely friendly and very very kind. Darker hair I believe and she might have had glasses on if I remember correctly, but just wanted to get on here and say thank you to her for her kindness!”

“I recently made an order for pickup in the deli department on mother's day. When I got there some how my order wasn't ready and, some how lost. I was about to have a meltdown in the crying way because the day was not going well already. The staff quickly fixed the mistake and made everything right. I later received a phone call apology from the deli manager. I give the Eaton Krogers an A1-5 stars in good customer service. Mistake are made sometimes. Fixing the mistake is the kind of customer service that business should all try to do. Thanks Eaton Krogers!”
“LEWISBURG OHIO ***** Went to this Dollar General to get laundry soap and dish soap. While there asked to use the bathroom which seemed to be public because the men's and women's doors both stated see Associates for restroom key. I'm assuming who seemed to be the manager immediately was rude and unprofessional. Stating there's no public bathrooms. she also tried to say that she's had left the store to go to the gas station up the road to use the restroom apparently while on shift. Which I'm assuming also that that is a lie because it seemed to me they had to working bathrooms (i had just left there, it was broken) Needless to say I didn't get my laundry soap and dish soap. I would not recommend and that will be the first and last time I will ever go there. Very unprofessional. if the bathrooms aren't for the public then that should be posted on the doors.”
