“I go to this location despite being closer to the Hilliard Rome Rd. location. This store is clean, the employees are friendly and professional, the food is fresh, the store is clean and uncluttered, the employees aren't always huddled in the register area or on the floor talking and they are up to date and knowledgeable about current Speedway deals and offers. It is night and day from Rome Hilliard as I have to spend time arguing about simply getting my pizza and drink, every single time. I've eaten at speedway, besides getting gas, religiously for over 5 years because of their specials and I just moved to Columbus and thought maybe it was the different area that made a difference. It surely isn't fair that the Columbus area Speedways are represented by such an individual. I am just lucky to have found another close by or Speedway would have lost a daily (sometimes multiple visit) customer. This location feels like a small town establishment and coming from a small town to Columbus I am really appreciate of the employees who make that happen.”

“This marathon at Norton Rd and old sullivant consistently has the lowest priced gasoline on the west side. I try to plan on not needed to re-fill any where else”

“A young guy named Ahmed was so professional determining the reason why I have a flat tire it turn out to be the last technician installed the new sensor upside down. Thank you Ahmed and thanks for Alex as well.”

“Love this place. I go here after my husband gets off work to grab energy drinks. Service from the guy is always immaculate. Always enjoy going in and having a good conversation. It's like kicking it with a friend you haven't seen in a while.”
2057 Dublin Rd, Columbus OH 43228
“My husband and I wanted to give a shout out to our fuel oil delivery guy, Bob. He went out of his way to start his day off extra early in order to accommodate our delivery. We are so very grateful for his kindness and taking care of us this way.”
5340 Tuttle Crossing Blvd, Dublin OH 43016
“Cheapest gas around the area. Like their cleanliness around gas pumps. Conveniently located for quick fill up on the go. Never been inside the store so can't say anything about inside store.”

“Friendly employees. This location has an issue with their merchandise being stolen so they have to keep things locked sometimes. The printers get jammed a lot since they've gotten these new models. It's very clean and easy and quick transactions so I can't complain much. Cheapest cigarettes in Columbus.”
6301 S High St, Lockbourne OH 43137
“They need more help. The cashier was nice and polite but was alone. With a constant need to be at the register, there were things needing attention. Old pizza from huntz pizza out, 3 hrs old. I will not mention the bathroom. Step it up, Marathon. This is on you, not your employee.”
3204 W Broad St, Columbus OH 43204
“The manager ray if you have any issues while you are staying there he takes great pride in taking care of guests takes care of all issues that arise his staff go above and beyond”

“Splash guard came undone while going down 70. Pulled into here. They didn't have bungee cords or zip ties but the nice lady at the front grabbed some zip ties from the back and save d my day!!! Great staff.”
1500 Hilliard Rome Rd, Columbus OH 43228
“Clean store, nice service. And the inspiring thing is to hear how the manager and district cares about their teams. They sacrificed for them and as a leader in a different industry myself I noticed. It’s rare to see that kind of scrafice and I am going to leave it at that.”
2121 W Mound St, Columbus OH 43223
“Very good place to get your car fixed they do brakes tune ups oil changes transmission work em check engine resets and they sell cars on top of that all of the staff there are very friendly and helpful all the time.”
3637 S High St, Columbus OH 43207
“Although it is self serve and they take all the different cards, I believe that that purposefully have the receipt machine at the pump disabled. That way you enter the convenience store to get your receipt on the chance that you'll purchase something else.”
606 Hilliard Rome Rd, Columbus OH 43228
“This was a very unfortunate morning as I was on my way to work sitting at the traffic light on West Broad and Hilliard Rome when my Jeep was destroyed by another vehicle. I gave woodys a call because I knew they were close by because I ride past them every day. They responded quickly and were there in no time to get my vehicle out of the road. The driver was very friendly, stayed in constant communication with me until he arrived, and made sure I was good after getting the vehicle up on the truck. I have to say this was the first experience I’ve had with a towing company that was this fast and efficient. The driver even made sure to get any broken parts and stuff out of the road. I have read a few reviews, but let me say this: reviews often make our minds up for us when we decide if we should choose a company or not, and sometimes people have very negative things to say. Please, please learn to give people a chance and see for yourself. Everyone’s experience is different woodys did a great job this morning taking care of me, and I’m proud to say anytime I need a towing company, they will be the first one I call. Looking for a good towing company call woodys I received the best service ever. Thanks woody for making my crazy morning go much smoother.”

“Kroger, you have exceeded all of our expectations! We recently relocated from Orange County, and we are so grateful to have found this grocery store. The prices are unbeatable, and the selection of products is simply amazing. From fresh produce to a vast array of international cuisine, Kroger has everything we could ever need. The aisles are well-stocked and the staff are always helpful and friendly. We cannot express enough how much we appreciate the great value and quality that Kroger provides. We are thrilled to have found a grocery store that offers such a fantastic shopping experience. Keep up the great work, Kroger!”

“I never liked going into this store before. I actually got kicked out a few years ago. However they've improved and are really nice. Their store is very clean and neatly organized.”
666 E Hudson St, Columbus OH 43211
“Decent little station. The pumps are fast, and service is decent; but other than that the location is kind of hard to get into, and the area it's in isn't the greatest, but if you need gas in the area (where there's really not a lot around) then this gas station is a decent choice.”
777 E Dublin Granville Rd, Columbus OH 43229
“Beautiful , clean, well stocked store with lots of options. I needed a little help with the self check-out out , and the employee Stacey helped me out every step of the way. She was so sweet and helpful. I will definitely be back to this location.”
1401 Sullivant Ave, Columbus OH 43223
“It's under new management, and they're doing their best to keep all of the riff-raff away. And their gas is usually the cheapest around town. So give this place a shot if you gave up on going there before because of the trouble that used to be around.”
648 Grandview Ave, Columbus OH 43215
“I moved from the country to the city a few years ago. One thing I always missed was knowing your gas station attendant and that familiar face when you pick up your cigarettes. This place has owners that care great beer selection but the cashiers really make the visit. Which is why I drive by Sheetz and stop here”
1585 Georgesville Square Dr, Columbus OH 43228
“Still my go-to place when I make liquor purchases. There are closer places, and the one I visited just was so impersonal, not very conducive to shopping. I enjoyed my recent visit here, pricing was comparable between the two shops, but I actually felt welcome here. And the biggest thing is that I didn't have to bother with a surcharge because I'd be using my debit card.”
2825 Olentangy River Rd, Columbus OH 43202
“Love the employees here! Very kind and friendly. Prices are decent, especially for a gas station. The gyro food truck in their parking lot is delicious 😋 Only gas station close to where I live (walking distance) super convenient! 👍”
2805 W Broad St, Columbus OH 43204
“I’ve always had great service! They have always been kind to me. Never any issues. Although I believe if you give respect and kindness you can possibly get it in return. They have a great selection of snacks. I don’t smoke cigs but my fiancee does and they have the cheapest deals. Gas isn’t bad either and they got air pump for cheap.”
2187 Neil Ave, Columbus OH 43201
“Quick place to stop and get gas or a snack/drink, convenience store was clean and checkout easy. Plenty of room to navigate pumps though entry/exit was a bit dicey.”
4580 Alkire Rd, Columbus OH 43228
“I have been to this Certified at least 3X a week and every single time I go in I am welcomed with a smile and professionalism. Ezra always makes me laugh and it is hard sometimes to find people who have that gift. He cares about his customers. His outstanding attitude keeps me coming back. You have a customer for life!”
1755 Hilliard Rome Rd, Hilliard OH 43026
“I have been a Sam's Club member for a while now and I've been to multiple ones in the Columbus area. There's plenty of parking at this location! All Sam's Club pretty much look the same, but this location is slightly bigger than some and more organized. Sometimes when you walk in a Sam's Club it feels almost like a zoo and everything and everyone is everywhere. They have everything you need and it's very clean. I haven't had long interactions with employees, but I've never seen them be rude. Because of covid right now, lines are social distanced. They do a great job of organizing lines and cashiers so that the line still moves quickly. I'll be back to this one!”
The Iowa retailer, the third-largest convenience store operator in the country, built its new three-year plan around three priorities: store growth, food and beverage expansion, and kitchen technology upgrades. The company plans to add 120 stores during the current fiscal year. Its previous plan, launched in 2023, delivered more than 500 new stores and earned the company a spot in the S&P 500.

Read the postTexas-born Buc-ee's is changing the way people think about gas stations and convenience stores. This chain is known for its huge stores along highways, some with over 100 fuel pumps. With its funny billboard ads, award-winning clean bathrooms, and branded items Buc-ee’s is hard to miss. The company wants people to actually plan to stop at Buc-ee's during road trips, not just go there as a last resort. And it's working - the chain has a huge fan base, with Facebook groups dedicated to Buc-ee's having hundreds of thousands of members.

Read the postLove's Travel Stops is rolling out a new system that turns work into a game for its restaurant employees. Picture this: Three big screens in each restaurant, tracking how fast workers greet customers, take orders, and hand out food. It's not just for show - early results say it's making service 11 seconds faster on average. "These monitors track key performance metrics in real-time, such as greet times, order processing times and the time it takes for food handoff," Love's explains. The system creates a more interactive environment, fostering friendly competition between stores.
