“Carpenter's, while looking like a small gas station on the outside, is the best place in town to get deli meats and cheeses, along with also being the best butcher shop in town.”
“Stopped over here while on a road trip. Really appreciate the SUPER CLEAN bathroom that has sensory/child friendly features for my toddlers! Give us a quiet manual flush toilet with a full seat and no loud hand dryers any day!”
“I went in this store recently and it was clean and organized which impressed me because I often go into Walmarts that are not as clean as this one looked. Good customer service but I went through the self checkout.”

“I like this store. There is a good selection of food in the grocery section, at decent prices. The prices have stayed low through the pandemic (unlike several other stores in the area that doubled their prices).”
“This is a very clean and nice Kroger.
I am leaving a review for their sushi and their poke bowls, they are super tasty and fresh! We got a salmon one and a tuna one, both were delicious!
I would stay away from the wasabi that comes in them though, it was not good. I wish they'd leave those out of it lol. Use your own!”
“I cannot imagine a Walmart ever scoring higher than 3stars. However, I had to come here twice on vacation to Hocking Hills and both times they had cashiers in the checkout lanes not just one at self checkout.”
“If you’re not expecting a refined place but going there only for soft serve ice cream, they have good variety and taste. And cheaper than their ice cream competitor nearby. The espresso flavor cone is delicious.
Definitely a rustic but refreshing cone stop if you’re near Hocking Hills State Park.
This place is back woods. It’s not a problem with me but know that their public restroom is a port-a-john. It’s a nice favor for the hundreds of tourists passing daily, but if you need a sink or water look elsewhere.
Not 5 stars to me due to the abundance of alcoholic drinks. This part is not child friendly.”
“Grandma Faye’s was a lovely surprise. I’m a city girl and was apprehensive to stop in for a bite after a long day of hiking. The store is a kitchen sink and has everything you can think of, from gorgeous dream catchers, to blankets, beer, wine, deli, and the fries and onion rings are delicious. No pics, food inhaled immediately upon receipt.”
