“Very nice cashier...my father-in-law is 86 years old and hard of hearing... he was trying to pay for gas and couldn't hear the cashier and was getting frustrated, and the cashier was extremely patient and understanding. She helped him with his order and kept her cool even with a line being to get longer. Shelves and coolers stocked and in order.”

“Unexpected 10-Cent Discount at the Pump!
I recently stopped at this particular Duke and Duchess location for regular unleaded fuel. The price displayed on the main sign and on the pump screen before I started the transaction was clearly $2.799 per gallon. I also confirmed that other nearby pumps displayed the same price.
However, after I inserted my debit card and the pump processed my payment and initialized the transaction, I was surprised to see the price drop instantly to $2.699 per gallon. This is a full 10-cent per gallon reduction from the advertised price!
I was not using any loyalty card, rewards program, or specific app. The pump automatically registered the 10-cent discount simply by processing my debit card. While I had heard that the everyday gas price here was sometimes lower than advertised, experiencing the discount automatically applied at the pump was an excellent surprise.
If you are filling up at this Duke and Duchess, be sure to check the price after inserting your payment method—you may be in for an unexpected savings of 10 cents per gallon. Great fuel, great price, and great service for automatically providing the best possible rate. Highly recommended!”

“Friendly people with decent price The only thing wrong with it is I can't get my speedway code on my phone to read at the pumps I have to go in every time even if I don't need anything from inside.”

“2nd Street Speedway is where it’s at in Marietta! They’ve got what you’re looking for, I promise! They get busy, but be patient, they’re doing their best there. Also, the manager is one of the best guys around, as he does a great job keeping things going, as well as trains the other staff to be great too. 10/10 would recommend, as I’ll drive clear across town to visit this location over the other 2 locations in town.”

“Stopped here while in town visiting family. It's an old store but we'll maintained. Good selection of snacks and drinks. Got us each a homemade brownie. It was so delicious. Good thing I don't live around there or I'd be eating those brownies every single day LOL. The parking lot is a little small and customers seem to just park all over the place with no rhyme or reason.”

“Needed coffee on a road trip. The dark roast coffee is VERY good. You'd have to find a Starbucks to get better coffee, and that's only if they even have dark roast. Speedway is a great place to fill your coffee cup!”

“When I filled up, they had the lowest gas price in the area. Plus with my Kroger Fuel Rewards Points plus $.05 per gallon off on my Kroger Rewards Master Card, I saved $.45 per gallon on fill-up.”

“People complain about kitchen staff but don't understand they do so much more than stand there and give you food. If they arent there they're probably washing dishes taking out trash stocking cooler or simply taking a dang bathroom break. Heard the workers complaining about rude customers when they are busy and not always there.. yall need to treat these workers like people! That little bell cant be heard from many places! I feel bad for the girl that works nights they leave that girl up there alone to die lol only bad thing about this place is the pumps suck can never pay outside and they wont fix them.”

“Marietta Marathon is a great place to stop for gas or conveniences. On a long drive, Marietta has some of the lowest gas prices in the area, especially compared to just across the border in West Virginia. This gas station is well lit and feels safe at night. The service inside is also friendly, and there are restrooms available.”
