The work on both was excellent and very fast (less than a week). The price was within the range I was expecting based upon searching the internet. “Outstanding. Truly. I'm currently still blown away by my experience with Kirk & Company. I inherited my grandmother's 1940s engagement ring from my father before he passed away, and it needed some serious help and restoration before I felt comfortable wearing it as my own wedding ring (resize, re-shank, broken prong, smashed in a spot, hadn't been cleaned since the 40s, etc). I really had no idea that it could look THIS beautiful. It's like a new ring! Even my husband was floored by how it looks now, and is beyond pleased. Everyone was very kind, laid back, not pretentious in any way, and I felt extremely comfortable there. Pricing was very, VERY fair, and it was ready an entire week earlier than was initially anticipated.

“Today, I walked into Davidson's and was greeted by the friendly staff in a family run jewelry store with a good assortment of jewelry and unrivaled customer service.
I recently moved from Dayton to the Cincy area and have been looking for a jeweler for watch battery replacement, jewelry repair and an occasional bauble for my girl, when the mood strikes me or I'm in trouble ;-)
I was promptly waited upon and explained that I needed a new battery in my Hamilton watch and to have my fiance's engagement ring cleaned before our New Year's Eve wedding. I handed them both items and they were quickly inspected and agreed on the condition.
In the time that it took for me to apologize for the short notice on both items, my watch was handed back to me with a new battery! The battery replacement was just $18, less than a fourth of what Jared's charged me ($80) just a year earlier! And in the case of Jared's, the watch battery which typically last 3-4 years, was already dead!
My fiancé's ring was returned to me sparkling like new and they cleaned it for free!
JAREDS JEWELRY STORY:
Prior to my gal, who used to live in Lebanon, recommending Davidson's Jewelry, I've been doing business with Jareds, which was less than satisfactory and ridiculously expensive even for a watch battery replacement ($80).
In my last dealing with Jareds they also broke the stem of my Hamilton watch and charged me an additional $104 to have it replaced, claiming it was bent when it arrived. Considering the fact that the Jared's sales rep and I both inspected the watch before they accepted it, this was something I should not have been charged for. Its a prized watch that stays in its case and is worn rarely, so I knew its condition before handing it over for a simple battery replacement.”

“Went here with another couple and we enjoyed it for the most part. My husband and another both had the steak hoagie. He had the mushroom sauce on his and LOVED it and Sharon had the marinara sauce on hers and she said it was okay. They both had the onion straws and said there were excellent with the sauce that came with. I had the pulled pork sandwich with fries and it was spicy, which I really like. Hubs said my nose was sweating quite a bit. Bob had the Philly Cheese steak and fries and really liked them as well. The waitress mentioned they had recently changed to home made fries. Both Bob and I said they needed to be more crispy but otherwise tasted good. The business is big square footage wise but there wasn't a lot of people in here at the six o'clock hour. But the food is good and the service people were nice and didn't hound us. It was a good meal and would come back again sometime.”
