“I miss the Beir Banc. I grew up in Massillon OH and now live in Oregon where puritanical pioneer culture has resulted in strict liquor laws after prohibition. There are zero (0!) drive-thrus where a hard-working red blooded American citizen can buy beer and cigarettes and lottery tickets from the peace and comfort of their vehicle. I have to park at a miserable place called The Plaid Pantry and get out of my car to purchase my indulgences. Don't take a gem like the Bier Banc for granted, Massillonians.”

“I always go there to buy energy drinks before my work shifts and their selection is superb. They keep the place clean, practice social distancing and are always kind. A small personal note is I prefer warm energy drinks thanks to sensitive teeth and the always offer me warm drinks over cold ones thanks to remembering me. The fact that they remember the small things about me is great. These guys have it down pat.”

“Very Friendly cashier. Extremely personable & remembers what I get. They have a huge selection of speciality beers. I love going here for their Michigan beer selection. They accept cash & card, which is great & the pricing is better than any other store in this area. Looks kinda sketchy on the outside, but its a hidden gem. You won't be disappointed with their wide selection.”

“Above and beyond and leagues upon leagues better than the Circle K off of Arlington Road that Circle K is more like a circle J but this place this place is a perfect circle”

“New to the block and was pleased to see a shop in walking distance. Staff is friendly and shop is organized. Decent prices considering the current inflation. Would recommend for quick stops, smokes, beer and lottery!”

“Last I heard it is a family-owned-and-operated business. They remind me of the neighborhood store when I was growing up and you'd go there people know who you were are they were treated you like a friend”

“Clean spot. Guy in at 530pm 2/18/2019 did a magnificent job on the grilled wraps. Placement if veggies was perfect, the sauce to cheese and meat ratio was absolutely phenomenal.”

“I was just at this location (Feb 9th @ 8:45) The nicest man checked me out with my purchase. I was only in there for a few minutes. He is genuinely so nice. I hope someone from Giant Eagle sees this review and they appreciate him. I spent decades hiring people for customer service roles, and if I was still doing this...I would recruite him in a minute! Thank you (whoever you are) for being so nice. You set the tone for my day :)”

“Been coming to the Corner Store for the past few months since I moved back into Perry Township. Originally I'd go for scratch off tickets, which they have a great selection. One day while I was waiting for my wife to figure out which one she wanted I perused the beer section and I found the best part of the place. Their craft beer selection is amazing. For a store so small, they have so many different beers. The normal beers such as Budweiser, Coors, etc take up only one of the sections, the rest is craft and imports. If they don't have what your want, they'll start ordering it for you. Amazing service and great selection.”

“I've been a customer here for for over 20 years. I love that they still have a full service pump, for me most days getting in and out of the car and pumping gas makes my pain much worse, especially after running errands. All of our vehicles have been serviced and repaired here over the years on multiple occasions. They are knowledgeable, honest, and do an excellent job. There were several times when money was tight over the years and they let us know if we could have part of the work done to keep it going and the rest a few weeks or more later to make it fit into our budget, and that was always appreciated. Whether you need gas, tires, regular maintenance or repairs I highly recommend Hammers Marathon!”

“I don't know the name of the man that was working tonight but he is a very very nice man. I want to acknowledge him for his kindness I was standing at the bus stop with no gloves he gave me a pair of gloves and a hand warmer. It melted my ❤️ heart to have him show me this kind of kindness. I have never had somebody be so nice to me so thank you to the man who I never got his name .. I will definitely be going back to this place not only because of the person. That works there but also because they have all my flavors of wraps... Thank you Massillon drive thru I really appreciate you....”

“The pumps are up to date and work great! The outside is clean and well kept up. Multiple exits and entrances from the lot make it easy to get in and out of. There is a Bell Store on location, but I have not been inside yet, although I have purchased gas here multiple times. My rating is based on how this establishment compares to other establishments within the same category, industry, or business model.”

“Store was busy with one cashier named Hank who, despite the long line, had a smile on his face and a cheerful demeanor. I got the last two pieces of pizza that I could tell weren’t fresh but I was hungry. Hank gave me the pizza for free because without even looking at it knew it wasn’t the usual hot and delicious pizza I love. Guilty pleasure. When I commented about him being the only one there he simply said Hey, things happen sometimes. Someone made a scheduling error and he didn’t say anything negative. What??? Is Hank human? From another planet where people don’t complain? No. He’s just a good guy who has a great work ethic and great customer service. Bravo Hank!!!!”
