“Ollie's is one of the few stores that offers true bargains on many popular items. Big Lots used to be this way, but they changed and raised their prices substantially, now they're out of business. I feel bad about that but at least I still can shop at Ollie's for bargains and closeouts”

“I've been wanting to stop in here for a while and I'm glad I finally did. Lots of grocery items that the regular DG doesn't carry, like fresh produce, meat, I even saw an isle for beer and other alcoholic beverages. Prices are the same as any DG, just seems like their inventory is a little bigger. Clean store and well organized. The only complaints I have is that there was only 1 register open with more than 10 people in line with full carts, and 2 people working at the same register. Also the checkout counter is extremely small (I'm talking like maybe a 2'-3' space). Seeing that this is a Market where you can buy groceries and pretty much anything else you need, the counter should probably be big enough to support at least half of what you put in your buggy. Otherwise, not bad, I'll be back!”

“This store is a great go-to location if you just need a few items. They carry many products that the big box is always running out of. Much less stressful than that big store in town and you can get in and out quickly. Good prices for the most part.”

“I went to this store for an online pick-up order. They were the only store in the tristate area they had what I was looking for. Pick-up was extremely easy and fast. They even let me price match the item. (It went on sale the day after I bought it). The price match was easy. The woman who checked me out was young but knowledgeable. I also love their outside Christmas decorations.”

“As it is often the only store for certain things downtown Weirton, sometimes you have to stop in but the last year or so it has always been understaffed and low inventory on items. The workers that are there always seem to be doing their best but you can tell they need more employees. Not their fault.”

After a simple excursion through the store finding my items to purchase, the cashier, Patty, pleasantly greeted me with a lovely smile and eye contact. “2-22-2023 I was honored to receive a $5 off $25 bonus coupon for use during the weekdays, so I went to the Steubenville, OH, Dollar General on Hollywood Boulevard to shop today. I like visiting this store because Jeannie and Nick are always professional, friendly, and willing to help their customers. I guess this will be my last review because Google puts a character limit on each. They need to have individual reviews per location. :(2-11-2023 I visited the Dollar General store on Main Street in Weirton, WV this morning and Theresa greeted me and helped me locate items I could not find. She is always helpful when I visit her store. Isaiah did a great job of cashing me out at the register. He had a wonderful smile, was kind, and treated me like family. Isaiah even processed my digital coupon for $5 off $25. Later that day, I found out I purchased the wrong paper towels and I went back to the store. Eric was kind enough to issue a refund for the purchase because they were out of stock of the correct paper towel. Eric took great care of me and handled the transaction quickly and professionally. Thanks for having such kind, considerate employees at this store. :)2-11-2023 I visited the Dollar General store on Three Springs Drive this morning and found everything I looked for. The store was clean and well-organized. Terri checked me out at the register; she was efficient, friendly, and accommodating. I used my paper coupon for $5 of $25 successfully and the bill was significantly lower than $25. I love those Saturday coupons! <3I made my Saturday morning trek to the Steubenville Dollar General store and was pleasantly greeted by Chase and Jeannie as I entered. Chase was handling the register, and Jeannie was stocking shelves. As I had questions about items on my list, Jeannie and Chase were available to help me locate the products; they physically walked me to each instead of pointing me to an aisle. I started using this location as my preferred one because they keep a good stock and premier customer service. The store was clean inside and out. I did not mind the area where stocking was in progress, and a cart full of items to stock in the aisle. This is to be expected for a high-volume store. I commend Jeannie on excellently maintaining her store and training new employees like Chase to be accommodating, friendly, and polite. I would highly recommend this location and these two employees to family and friends.1-14-2023Jeannie took great care of me today during my visit to the Hollywood Boulevard Dollar General Store in Steubenville, Ohio. She had everything in stock on my list. Jeannie assisted me in finding an item I needed; she was friendly and professional. I stopped by and was greeted with a smile and eye contact by Marranda. I asked her where the Sunchips were located, and Marranda took me there. I thanked her and found the Diet Mountain Dew Bottles on sale and Stax. I proceeded to the checkout area, and Marranda smiled, efficiently processed my order, and handed me the receipt. She took excellent care of me. I truly appreciate dedicated, professional employees like Marranda, who cares about her customers and treats them like family.1-21-2023Chase was busily stocking shelves today and took the time to help me find food for my new puppy.
